I can agree with temporary, but don't strip him of it just because of an irl issue. Trust me when I say that that's honestly what I want from him. I used to want him demoted and gone, but he's a great person and what happened was just a mistake. He doesn't deserve to feel the way I felt. However, when he comes back I think he should become smod again. Maybe just not of warz and party. Maybe community?

 

I'm not really a WarZ player but I still agree with most of the points - sure a family tragedy is bad, but at least give some sort of notification instead of up-and-leaving it for all the other staff to work out. I think @Striker_Sly's suggestion would be ideal here, but maybe that's just me.

 

It was his friends mother that died and he wanted to take care of his friend to help him out. He pm'ed me that a day before he completely vanished and from that day, he's not shown any sort of interest into coming back since he's not even logged onto the Forums or Slack. I feel left alone as being one of the only WarZ Staff members since Mods aren't able to do as much as a Smod. WarZ has the most permbanned players that keep on coming back and me and Imacro can't really do anything other than waiting for a couple of days till a Smod takes care. I pm'ed Peas a huge list of permbanned players so he'd know who they are since he couldn't know anyone in that community since he just came back after ~ 2 1/2 years. He usually took care of issues pretty quickly and I'm thankful for that but now that he's gone it just takes forever.

We are unable to host events and such things to keep players Interested and give the players what they want.

He's ignored every single pm I wrote him. He's not logged onto anything for 2 months now.

Idk who else Peas pm'ed back then but @RyGuy can confirm that he simply wanted to help out a good friend through a hard time. That doesn't mean that you can leave alone the 2 biggest Servers on Brawl for 2 months without a single away post for all the Staff members at least.

We had a increase for like a week or 2 when Peas got Smod and we added militia. Now we are back down from around ~ 60 players every day to max. 35-40 on prime time which is sad. I'd really love to help out WarZ as much as I can but having a Manager that's not there for you when you need em the most is pretty tilting.

If I'm speaking of that stuff is tilting I'm talking about me myself and I. Idk if anyone else's tilted but I know from myself that such stuff is pretty annoying. I hope people understand my points.

 

If not for warz then we need a separate warz smod like snax. Warz is the server in most need of an smod because gameplay gets stale quick without events and the rule enforcement is most needed. Don't demote peas, temporarily or permanently promote snax

 

@TheTrogs is incredibly active on brawl, and on its ts. Me and him often talk in ts and he is always ready to help people in need. He knows his way around the warz community, and I think he can handle managing both kitbrawl and warz. He is the best fit to manage the server we all play, because if nobody steps up to the plate soon, the player rate will continue to fall down, as @ChicknSlayr said.

 

I will come back to warz when we have an smod who is active. However, I have many reasons for leaving warz.

1. It is almost impossible to play warz as a staff member successfully without being demoted during my timezone. There are basically 3 teams that are available to play in, one of which is Xions, but he is with liqhx constantly and I don't make it a habit to play with people openly admit to xraying. Then I could play with the Germans, half of which are perm banned (another thing that could be solved with an active warz smod), or I could join you and triple and start alting on 3 accounts every week, but I can't play with you guys because triple is perm banned now.
2. The community is literally the strangest thing... they ask for grapples to be removed, then complain that they don't have grapples. They complain that they don't have events, then complain about the events when we do them. They complain about not enough bans, but when we do ban they get pissed because it was one of they 20 teammates who got banned and start hitting us off.
3. The developers gave up on WarZ and it is was too frustrating to be asking for things and getting no response for up to 3 weeks. Then the smod left Brawl so I really had no reason to stay. The only way I ever got anything done on there was going through peas.
4. I should not have to fail multiple exams due to being hit off because I volunteer my own time for other people so they can enjoy a server.
5. There should be no reason that someone called my parents after doxing me because I banned him and his friend and revealed pretty much my biggest secret irl.
6. There should be no reason that people have committed suicide over complete ***** who play warz harassing them. The people did this should CERTAINLY not be laughing about. You know who you are, I won't drop names, but know you are scum.
7. People have no intent on changing anything on warz such as a new map.

I would go on, but I really don't see the need. If any other warz players would like a detailed explanation of why I am no longer considered a "warz mod" I would be happy to converse over teamspeak.

It just dawned on me from reading @Sn4x5's post. He absolutely has not interest in coming back.
What effort does it take to just log on, check things out, and inform us on his circumstance or whatever?

I agree, but it isn't up to us. We can give input but it ultimately comes down to what cuddled wants. She'll make the best decision she sees fit to make, so we should just wait for that.

 

I think SMods are @chickenputty's territory, since it's such a huge role.

1. If you're afraid of getting demoted make your own team with staff, me ritzy blamo and cloudy did that back in the day with also raven and way2 and we still did well. And you say liqhx admits X-ray! We all know he hacks, just ban the guy, he's blatant and all the mods know he hacks. Who cares if there's no solid evidence - which there literally is anyway I can show you. Idk why staff are so afraid of banning for X-ray. Triple also isn't permbanned since all of his accounts aren't perm banned???
2. That's because it wasn't done right. The grapple thing I agree with. But a poll with 20 voters isn't accurate of what the community wants. There was no broadcast in game. Probably 75% of warz players never touch the website. But the rest of it man cmon you guys promise events and they turn into a lag fest filled with whitename cheaters and big teams. We need organizers and planned events not just planned dates. There can't be lag. Lastly if you don't want to be hit off just ask your parents to call the provider to get a new router. Then don't use skype, and don't click links, and never join warz practice servers. Then you're good.
3.i agree with this but still doesn't mean you should give up just like that and move to an easy server. Use my point above to get through it

5. Being doxed is your fault. Why is so much of your personal information being released? I've played warz for about 2 years and I'm sure many people wouldn't mind doxing me. Most people know my first name and maybe an irl photo, that's about it. You're responsible for the information you share online. Especially your address and phone numbers

I think you need to come back or bring mods back and fix the server. Change you ip and phone numbers. It's really ez. I did it once never been hit off for a year now and I can change my ip every few seconds. Trust me bro

I know that but feather let's be real I get demoted for using ff on zombies yet other mods were blinking on that same server and never got punished. Cuddle demoted ritzy for teaming with a banned player once on his first strike and he didn't know it was a banned player. She doesn't make the best decisions all the time, as she's human, and it is up to us as the community to help her reach those decisions

 

The events will always be laggy unless someone takes care of the bullets. The snowballs are the issue of the plugin. 100 people around one area shooting is just too much for the Plugin so it starts lagging.
Also it's not that easy to host events without a Smod.

 

That's why we need the devs to stop caring about new servers that will die a week later and focus on keepin alive servers. Brawl went from 2500 players to 200 each day we need them to prolong the life.

 

1. Yes I agree, I have been very inactive, but that was due to my schedule. For 2 months, every day I would wake up at 6:45 and then go to school at 7:45, and then come home at 10 pm. Every day. And on weekends I would do the same even when there was no school. I barely had time to do homework, so I'm not sure what you were suggesting there...
2. I probably don't know all of the rules, and I specifically stated that in my application. There always was going to be a learning curve for me, but I am at least trying, so I don't know what more you want, and negativity is not really helping anything.
3. Yes, I am sorry that I am not in tab when you are, because I know seeing is believing. I have tried to do as much as I can with the limits that I have. Most of it will probably never be seen, but I hope that you know as an ex-staff that it's not just in game that counts. I am literally typing this in class right now so that I can be here as much as I can.
