no simply no he might be a great guy (before he was mod) but I think he got way to arrogant same happened to a german admin (LR) sry to say this but I was good friend with bouth before they got staff...

 

I'm aware she doesn't make the best decisions (trust me when I say that personally) but she does better than most others and she has a way of knowing people's true personalities. We can trust that she knows peas enought to know what to do. If she makes a mistake, that's fine. I've learned that no one is perfect and I can't expect anyone to be. She does her job well enough and she's reading through this I'm sure, deciding what to do. I'm just here to stop people from outright flaming peas tbh. I don't really care about what happens with him either way, because I have almost no say in it and it isn't worth it for me to become emotionally attached to the situation.

Yes. Roke and putty assist with the staff promotions and demotions, but it's ultimately cuddled who decides what's best. That's why she's head of staff. That doesn't mean she doesn't listen to other people. Shes just the final say.

I dont think he minds terribly. His job is network administration, not staff drama. He's had enough of that recently I'm sure.

I've never seen cuddled give any implication of outright not caring for any server. There's a reason she's still here and it isn't for the money (it's volunteer). If anything, she needed to step away from the situation/server in order to not get sucked into the drama. There's nothing wrong with that and I'm sure she'll still help people that ask for it. However, she does have an irl job, so don't be upset if it takes a little while to get a response. Life should always come first.

I dont believe you're the worst mod. Everyone specializes in something unique and, like I said above, life should always come first. Sometimes it's difficult for others to see that, but it's true. You just keep doing you, because you're wonderful the way you are! ^-^

 

Mind elaborating that for me? I have not changed at all since I got staff. The only thing that changed is that I try to follow all rules as well as possible. Whenever I try to help you out you bring up the problem that people are booting. This is something we can't fix and something we can't take care of since it's impossible to tell if someone's actually booting and not just someone turning off his Wifi.

I have a few issues with the two points you've made.

1) staff cannot ban a player if they do not have proof of them hacking. Though you may swear that he is, it isn't fair of him to justify the ban based on someone else's viewpoint. That's why they have a recording policy in place.

2) not caring for the server is not being shown here. Recently a lot of work (both by the mods and by outside influences) was put into creating a militia base for warz in hopes of bringing in new players. Events have been run, hackers are still being banned and then ipbanned when they come back on alts. To say people don't care about warz is, in my observation, false. However, if you believe you could help, apply. That's the best way to have more say in a server.

3) I have not noticed a change in snax at all before getting staff to now, so I don't understand where that came from. We were friends before and we're still friends now. If anything, you're most likely upset about warz's "lack of attention" and are taking out that anger on the personification of the server (which would be snax). I get it. I did the same thing recently, but being angry doesn't help a situation. It's better to step back and think about why you're angry, so you can formulate an argument about why it should be changed. As for roke, he does his job well. Yes, he's strict, but seeing as he deals in appeals, forums bans, policy guidlines, and general community backlash, it's understandable that he would have a stiffer hand when communicating with the community. If you make exceptions for one, you have to make exceptions for all.

 

Relax man I didn't say you were the worst mod I just said you were inactive. Your third point contradicts your first point. And because you're a jmod you're only a chat mod and useless to ip checks and hackers.

Agree with everything except when u say nobody doesn't care. Devs rarely care and they only update when I'm making all caps threads about an issue that's been in place for months. Nonetheless I'm grateful for that. But admins don't and smods don't care about warz. Peas cared about warz and militia is literally a one day build that cannot be an excuse for a big update. We need more care to warz and as a player, I know we do. Back in the day we had a bunch of mods; gigga, Mario, poaches playing the server. sig on all the time with team holy and they never ran into hacker teams like deans if they did they took the ban hammer. They care because it's their job, not because they put their heart into it

 

Demote him and promote sna4x5, it's that simple

If brawl care about warz, then they should sell it on mc-market or spigot to a more known network with active developers that have spare time to work on it.. In my eyes, that is the only way it will recive more players and still be safe from closing in the future.

 

How would we receive the players if we sell it to others?

1. Selling WarZ wouldn't make a difference as the code is very dated. To actually run the server and even maintain it, it'd have to be recoded and the easiest way to to it is just coding the concept rather than buying the plugin and trying to update it. Besides, Brawl likely wouldn't sell the plugins/servers that made Brawl what it is today.
2. I don't see why @Sn4x5 gets negativity towards him becoming the WarZ manager since he knows the current community the best out of all staff members associated with WarZ.
3. It's been a few months since Peas has been here. As stated above, it takes zero effort to update people on the situation and let people know if you're going to be back or not. He's had that time and by the looks of it he clearly isn't interested in coming back.

Also, to the people that say things like "hackers aren't banned" and all this other crap, take a look at these:

Yeah. They totally aren't being banned.

To be honest, @Sn4x5 is the perfect choice. He plays, he bans hackers, and he actually does stuff for this community. Peas might come back but he isn't showing any sign of it.

*Also, I respect Peas choice to leave. Just because I want someone to take his place doesn't mean I have anything against him.

All I'm going to ask is this. What are you guys not understanding? No one is criticizing Peas for leaving, and no one is upset with him for leaving during a hard time of his life. This is about straight business, and helping WarZ. In this case, it really doesn't matter what happened to him. He could be dealing with the most traumatic experience of his life, or he could be shelled up in his basement playing Call of Duty. Either way, he's not helping out the community. Think from the perspective of someone who plays WarZ a lot. Do we, the people who boot over pixels, care about someone's social life? No! All that WarZ players care about are simple things, such as A) Not getting killed by a hacker B) Not getting DDoSed C) Not dying to glitches and D) Not getting caught Xraying because literally every player xrays.

So as bad as it sounds, think about this whole issue in terms of productivity. We need to get things done, and having a staff member in a position of great responsibility who hasn't touched the game for two months and the forums for a month and a half, isn't going to help.

 

I hope Peas comes back soon, as we all do. It sure does hurt that he's not here, and that he left with little notice, but he is not currently managing WarZ or Party like he was prior to leaving, so we can't give him much grief there.

I try to help out here and there when I am not busy. I don't actively play in-game anymore as I don't have much time, but I've been in the WarZ community for a long time, and I think I understand the community somewhat.

CTF already has a very efficient group of staff that work very well alongside eachother, and I think that they all prefer it to stay that way, where no one is above anyone else.

Seriously? Come on.
And whether or not someone's information being released is "their fault" or not, it surely is enough of a reason to leave a community, especially when done maliciously, so I don't think you quite grasped his point.

I do what I can to help whenever possible, and I am definitely always willing to do what it takes to help WarZ, but I may not be the most fit to take the manager role of the server. Thank you for the mention and kind words though, means a lot!

Peas is not currently managing WarZ though.
