Ever since I was a kid, I have had migraines every few weeks. Now that I'm getting older, those weeks have turned into months (sometimes) but now I mostly have sinus headaches where one side of my head or my nose is in throbbing pain. Currently have one now, and I'm sitting in the tub trying to let the steam clear my head out. Already took some pain killers too.

Anyone here have similar situations or any natural remedies they've used?

omg omg omg omg I totally got you! I have migraines so bad that a lot of times I can't move. Just had one yesterday and I also spent about 2 hours in the hot tub. xD There are a couple of things that help me.

    1) I take Excedrin, which contains a lot of caffeine (which is supposed to help with migraines and it helps me).
    2) I lay down in my bed on my stomach and fold my arms on my pillow, laying my head down on top of them and turning my head to one side. I found that the pressure helps a lot with the pain.
    3) If I don't want to take medicine, I listen to delta binaural beats with headphones while laying down. They've been shown to help with migraines in a more natural way by aligning the brainwaves in your head with the one's you listen to. It's helped me soooo many times and it works really quickly too (as long as I'm not doing anything else)
    4) I close my eyes in a lit-up room and plug my ears for a couple of minutes. (My migraines are caused by light and sound, so if I have the time to relax I do this to try to separate myself from the cause. It takes a lot longer though).

Other than these, I haven't found much else that helps.

Hey, I need some help with my issue here too.

Every now and then this happens:

    • I walk
    • I feel something weird
    • My vision turns blind for a little
    • My hearing worsens for a little
    • My muscles stop to work properly meaning I am falling, which also happens
    • I wake up and find my self on the floor without having felt any pain at first place while falling
There was no case that this happened in front of somebody.

When this happens I try to hang from something I find in front of me whether it's a table, a chair, a stool but I always fail at keeping my self on my feet as my arms' muscles also fail to work properly.

It never happens while I am out or when I am running.

    What's this all about?

I'd suggest avoiding things that contain stimulants, e.g. caffeine, since you'll feel ok or even perfect for a while, but (like with any drug) you'll get a really bad headache and a "low" feeling.
I've had really bad headaches (most notably after someone headbutted me, breaking his own skull in the process - I have a ridge like concrete up there lol) before, and I'd suggest not lying in bed but walking in a park, in the morning - if there's mist you start feeling better (in my case due to the difference in air pressure).

There's a lot of research out there suggesting that caffeine actually helps with migraines though... And I can speak from personal experience that it really does help. The main medicine for migraines, Excedrin, also contains (hold on, I'm actually checking rn) 65 mg of caffeine.

Omfg I am not alone! If you can't sleep because of it, sit down on your bed for a few minutes, it really helps!

And also scratch your head, it helps too

Oh and btw do you need to puke sometimes because of your migraine? If you do, do it, my migraine often disappears after that so that I can sleep and rest.
