Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - My Minecraft is secured, and migrated. I change the password every month now, and no one has access to my account other than me.

How old are you? - I'm currently 16 years old, turning 17 on September 4th.
What time zone are you in? - I am located in the (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - I am able to speak fluent English, and Spanish. I was born into a Spanish speaking family, but learned Spanish after I was able to learn English.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I first joined Brawl after the merge between McPvp happened. I logged onto McPvp, and saw various messages in the chat saying they were closing soon. I then went on to explore, and found out it was being bought by Brawl. Before that, I was able to find out about Brawl because of big youtubers but never got the chance to come on and play it. The first gamemode I ever truly enjoyed playing was CTF, but then moved on around December to Kit Brawl. Ever since I started playing Kit Brawl, I have obtained about 8 days and 22 hours of playtime. Since joining Kit Brawl, I have been able to improve my skills in pvp, and how to tell hackers apart.
What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I have yet to become a moderator on a server, but I am very knowledgeable of the commands on Brawl that JMOD's do get. Some being the ability to mute players, kick them for an hour, warn, and prune the chat. I also do tend to watch staff series made by youtubers, so I have been able to gain the skill of telling hackers apart from the legit ones. Also in these past few months, I have been able to acquire the skill of how to determine when action is needed, and when it's not.
Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I want to become a moderator on Brawl because I want to be able to help out Kit more than I already do. I want to be able to give out more than just my ideas, and I also do tend to see various people online that always are asking for assistance, but all I can do is either tell them to /support for a staff member, or /report so a mod can look into the situation. I have been able to help Trogs with Kit ideas, to balance out the gamemode more. I have taken into consideration the feelings of all the community members, and all of my ideas are listed below. I also was able to start the process of what is now the Kit Brawl Tourney.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have used hacked clients like Nodus, but that was in 2013-2014, I have never used a hacked client on Brawl before. But I have used Vape in single player to test out the features, and to help me be able determine different types of hacks.
Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - I have been punished on Brawl, my last punishment was an Autoban that happened on March 8th. https://www.brawl.com/history/JayO_o/ You can find the rest of my punishments, I also have been falsely banned for Autosneak, KillAura, and Speed. As you can see though, I was able to get unbanned very quickly.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I consider my greatest strength my ability to multitask. I am a person that is able to do more things at once, and still do a decent job on it. I can also say that I am a very friendly person when it comes down to it, some people may think otherwise because of my past actions in January, but I have completely acknowledged everything, and have moved towards a friendlier attitude, and I also can say that I tend to be very helpful. If there is a way I can help out someone, I am always down to do it.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I would consider my greatest weakness to be my patience. But, I also have worked on that a lot. I have become a more tolerable person, and I know what is right from wrong. I also would say that my anger can also get to me at times, but I rarely do speak off on anger, I have been able to work on how to calm myself down. I always keep a fidget spinner toy on hand
Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - I am most active on the Kit Brawl server, but I also can say that I am equally as active on CTF. But I do spend more time on Kit Brawl, and also am more dedicated to Kit than any other server.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - I have have made one other application.
What is the date of the last application you submitted? - March 2nd, 2017.
Do you have TeamSpeak? - Yes I do have TeamSpeak, but I am not really active on that. I am 100% way more active on Discord and the Forums than TS. But I do tend to go on it at times, but my TS activity could use a little work. I am sure it will go up overtime.

Anything else you would like to state? - I am currently looking into Tech Universities to attend, and as of right now, I am on my way to Baltimore University xD! I am also a football and soccer player. Any feedback is always appreciated, I would like to improve anything that is currently bringing me down. No hate towards anyone who believes I am not ready for this position.

May I have any recent event of me being immature that makes you still think of me as that? Because to be honest with you... I really haven't had an encounter with someone in the past few months that really pushed it over the edge to specifically say I am "Immature"

 

I respect your decisions, but what me and Chaos discussed was about something that happened 2 months ago. I have yet to come to a situation where I have been awfully immature, I have been trying my best to become more helpful and respectful. I do believe that I have been extremely immature in the past, but I have tried almost everything in my will power to change it. I have been trying to become even more active than I have been, and recently, have been helping people on Kit with issues regarding the game. Also, I tend to stay calm while people tend to mock my ingame skills, something I usually would get mad triggered about. I know words can't show the actual change, but there also have been multiple occasions on Discord and Shoutbox where I have been able to assist people that have been muted/banned. Also, my last mute was January 21st I believe. So flame, hackusations, extreme disrespect, etc. is something I have moved away from. I have also alternatively made up my own ways of trying to avoid that, usually instead of talking in chat, I would make chat hidden in multiplayer settings to avoid seeing any conflict.

I did have maturity issues in the past, but I have worked towards all that. I can say that I am not the same person I was a couple months ago. I have put my past behind me, and worked towards a new me. Many people don't like me because of my previos actions in the past, and I understand people just don't forgive and forget. But I believe that I can show people that I have become a better person, and that I am a more approachable and mature person than I was before. Thank you for your feedback though.

I have been acting the same way around everyone. I am always trying to be helpful on Kit even though I am held back a bit since I am not a staff member. I try my best to be mature when around anybody, I am always answering questions and trying to report hackers even when no moderator is on. I have yet to actually do that, and I haven't been in a situation that would make me seem immature in a pretty long while so I'm questioning that a little... besides that thank you for all the feedback.

Thank you for your feedback on this application Kev. I can see where you are coming from, many people tend to judge a lot on my past that don't have a general overview of me. I respect you as a moderator, and I know you do a lot for CTF. Clearly, we know the CTF community isn't very forgiven and the past gets stuck onto you. Like you said,

This actually has happened to me quite a lot recently. Since you said you haven't really been in the Kit community, I can tell you by hand that it can get way more out of hand than CTF. You have people flaming your skills, then claiming you have a terminal illness. I have improved in the area of knowing how to maintain my control/anger, and have moved away from the toxicity. I might not change my position in the CTF community, but that's mostly because I spend most of my time on Kit. If this was a CTF application, I would totally be all up on that, but I have dedicated myself to a different gamemode. I have put in a lot of time into catching hackers, brainstorming ideas, helping staff, and trying to find glitches. (Found one that I will be posting about soon ) I know it may not seem as much, but I have tried to improve my image overall. I get rarely seen on CTF, and usually when I get on it, it's to 1. No one is on Kit, 2. CTF Match, or 3. CTF event. I know you may have a little issue with how I would respond to things, but I have also been taking a look into my reports/chatreports. Those have taught me a little on how to judge when action is necessary and isn't. I have also recorded a lot of hackers, (little offtopic xD kinda threw it in there), besides the point. I get where you are coming from, my past isn't the most ideal. But no human is perfect, and everyone goes through tough times. I have spent gradually a lot of time trying to improve my image on Kit. Which made me go a little inactive on CTF. Which means I haven't really had time to change how people see me on there. I do get it, that I am a big part of the CTF community still, but I am not as dedicated, nor as active as I used to be. Thank you for your feedback though.
