Loot Scooping, everyone hates it, besides the loot scoopers obviously. This honestly needs to stop. Your in spawn, fighting, and 5 people are there, getting in the way of the fight, waiting to scoop your loot. Now I know we could avoid this by not fighting in spawn, but you get someone who doesn't want too lose there loot and starts going in spawn trying to get away. For example, I was fighting someone (both of us were p4) I got the kill, wasn't able to get my loot because there was 5 people scooping it. May I suggest not being able to pick up loot in spawn, unless your PVP is enabled. This will easily stop loot scooping. The only issue with this is drop party's. You can't pick up the loot from them, so a drop party would then be pointless. But the number of times I here about loot scooping compared to a GOOD drop party is out numbering. Please considerate my idea.

There are a number of issues with this idea:
    • Trading in spawn becomes not possible
    • Picking up pork from pigs
    • As you said, drop parties

Also getting loot scooped, while annoying at times, is just part of the game, part of Minecraft.

What if you accidentally drop your sword and you have spawn protection?

Trading would be an issue, but what's the shop for then? It isn't hard to /msg someone when your putting something up in shop. Also i'm sure there's a command you can use for picking up pork/cooked pork if this was too happen. I think loot scooping is just simply stoping some people from fighting with good armour. It is for me atleast. "I'm not gonna fight whats the point its gonna get scooped anyways."
It is just an idea also, I'm sure there are other ways to avoid this.

Also, this could be a solution for this problem.

Most people don't want to sell expensive things in shop because of the tax and if you aren't interested in gold you can't trade?

this would most of the issue actually, but am i able to bring custom armour into the /1v1

Not sure what you mean by that. tax wouldn't have anything to do with it, and you could trade without gold too?

I am not sure what you meant with that message, could you explain what you mean?
If you put up an item for e.g. 100g on the market and someone buys it, the buyer will pay 100g but you will only get ~60g (I am not sure about the exact amount of tax).

And how would the shop work without gold?

Ok, I wasn't aware with that you didn't get the entire amount you put it up for. The shop would work without gold, for example if you wanted to trade a emerald for diamond, you put both items on shop for 0g.
Sorry about my English I didn't read that over. It meant to be, this would solve most of the problem, but could I bring my own armour into the /1v1? To be honest this idea works twice as good.

All the stuff that you have in your inventory will be brought to the arena where you fight, including the armour.

This is my own personal opinion:

I have to totally disagree with your idea. I know loot scooping can be frustrating sometimes, but remember you are playing on Raid.

I believe one of the biggest reasons why we play Raid is because of the "freedom" feeling we all have when we play. We can do whatever we want when we are outside or inside spawn. From scamming other players (Yeah I know, it can be lame but it's part of the game) to loot scooping or even insta-killing someone with instant damage potions.

Raid is most well-known for it's affinity to the vanilla feeling of playing Minecraft.

In conclusion, changes that just limit the player's "freedom" feeling in game shouldn't be, by any circumstance, added or put in discussion.

Sorry bro but I have to agree with everything @Speedcell said. Think about it from a new player's perspective also. If they somehow manage to get their hands on some p4 and an op sword, it might just give them the spark and desire they need to invest more time in the game mode, which can only be good for the player base. Whereas you being the veteran you are, can just get some more.

Take this away and there's no thrill whatsoever in being at spawn, which is where most new players will be. It's annoying yes, but it is raid after all. Don't like it? Raid the person who loot scooped you >:L

Raid is after all a hardcore gamemode. I see loot scooping as a part of the game. It sucks yes, but if we removed being able to pick up loot at spawn with spawn protection then it just creates more problems than it solves. Overall -1, although loot scooping sucks as said by others it is still a part of the of the game.

I've abandoned that idea, I still don't believe loot scooping needs to be apart of raid though, I feel like Eko's idea would be nice, or even making a jump in pvp area instead of making it walk in, then from the jump in you can travel.
