You really have no room to argue either way as you've NEVER played fpsHG. I can guarantee if you did you would have a completely different argument.

There's a reason one did a lot better than the other.

Yup there is a reason that HG was one of that most populated servers minecraft had through 2012

And you can't guarantee ****, guns in minecraft is stupid to me, so I couldn't see myself playing it for that long

In 2012 Minecraft wasn't even played that often, more and more people joined through 2013 to mid 2014.
And what you just said about guns proves you're being biased.

I'm done arguing with you on every single thread. Back on topic.

If you removed guns from WarZ, would you still say its similar to WarZ? No - removing just one aspect of the gamemode completely changes it. The gameplay of fpsHG is completely different to the gameplay of HG.

And no, I have not played fpsHG, but I have played SG w/ Guns which was a very similar concept, seen plenty of videos on what it was like, and played the upcoming H1Z1 gamemode a tiny bit.

Yes, I would actually, as it would be the same exact type of game, except without guns.

And like what was already stated, SG with Guns with close to nothing like fpsHG.

He asked me to name similarities and I did. Now what I can't understand is why you of all people draw us off topic again.

Actually, brawl is responsible for the fall of HG. Look at SimpleHG easily pulling off 100 player games.
Brawl had their chance. There could be games with 100 players, and that was the time they should've listened to the players. Adding in 1.7 and such stuff.

And, as we all know, HG was thriving when Brawl purchased HG. Also, compared to what HG is capable of getting, 100 players is still tiny. (And I know, we're not doing much better but there are reasons for it).
When Brawl purchased McPvP, they legally had to release HG, CTF and Build in a month. This involved a complete rework of CTF (I believe, I may be wrong about that) and a lot of dev time on HG, CTF and Build. This is not to mention that Brawl is a large network server which has plenty of other gamemodes they have to worry about.
Oh, you mean the wonderful playerbase who, two years after Brawl purchased McPvP, still post butthurt comments on every HG-related YouTube.

All the comments I chose are people who I believe are from McPvP. A lot of them I know for sure are.

These are the sort of people you can blame for us not taking the old playerbase into consideration when we're thinking of new HG updates to do. I'd also put you in that group of players. If the old playerbase just says "Oh who cares, HG is dead" whenever we try and do anything at all, why should we listen to them, even though they don't even play the game anymore?

And yes, there are exceptions. However, you're either a salty McPvPer who doesn't play Brawl, a sensible McPvPer who doesn't play Brawl, or warsmen7. There are very few exceptions. Oh, and that's not including CTFers, just the HGers.

You may just turn round and say that people think its dead now. And that people hate is now, and that its justified because 'Brawl did nothing'. But even that couldn't be further from the truth. So many people saw that McPvP shut down and just thought "Wow, Brawl killed HG" without even giving it a shot. In fact, the majority of people did this. HG is still similar to how it was on McPvP, just with a bunch of kit improvements. If everyone who said HG is dead actually played the bloody gamemode, HG wouldn't be dead.

Thinking that recoding the entire network so a dead gamemode can support an outdated version is a good idea? You're really pushing that whole "Opinions can't be wrong" statement to the limit. Its an absolutely ludicrous, insensible idea.
