    It's been 2 years since the Brawl/MCPVP merger, and our current status is... shaky. However, I feel optimistic about things. I heard good things about this summer
    Many of you continue to say stuff like "Brawl is dead.", "Brawl is dying.", and "@chickenputty should sell Brawl to another server." Well, you guys aren't staff members. You don't know what's planned. So, I suggest you guys stop assuming things, and stop being downcasters. If the staff are happy, then you should be happy.

    And to add on this, you people shouldn't spread rumors out there. They are misleading everyone and especially newcomers.

    Like I said, you guys have no idea what's going on. Yes, there isn't really anything going on, but there's been a school year, and it's just finishing up. We got finals and all to deal with.

    Nice one. Getting the good ol' whip. You can't do anything i'm afraid @Gehenna_Beam with everyone. It's how some people are to get a reaction lol. It's just gotten worse. It's a shame.

    Considering at the moment, no-one has any idea whatsoever what one of the projects we're actively working on at the moment is, yes. And, considering everyone thinks War 2.0 is still a good few months to a year away from being released, yes. Transparency on Brawl is very poor, and it leads to the community thinking we're not doing anything. So, yes they do.

    Yeah, because we posted a release date. We should post our progress, and if our progress slows down or we have to start over (which happened with War 2.0 quite a lot) then we should explain exactly why.

    I think if we posted exactly how close we were to War 2.0, and exactly why War 2.0 progress is reset/halted, people would be a lot less annoyed at the fact that War 2.0 is still not out.

    Yes, War 2.0 taking so long is pathetic. But, at least people would know why its taken so long, instead of people assuming its because we're lazy. I mean, at the moment, that assumption is an easy one to make.

    It's taking so long, because Devs keep leaving us after working on it for a short time.

    No, you haven't. Which is incredibly annoying too in my opinion. It is still in development stage, but people know it exists but nothing else about it. Its also not very clear to me what we're allowed to say about it and what we're not allowed to say about it.

    A thread explaining what it is and how far the progress is on it would be great.

    EDIT: I have brought this up in staff chat. Not leaking the convo, but as you can probably tell by the fact that there's no Battle Royale thread up still, you can guess where it went. :stuck_out_tongue:

    I'd have to agree with @Gehenna_Beam. I do see Brawl on the come up, rather than the fall down. However, that's because I know things others may not because I'm staff. I think if we could make calculated updates and showcases regarding some of the behind the scenes things, it would go a long way. BUT it can not be done in a manner the way War 2.0 was handled, which contributes to the negative perspective most players regard staff/player transparency today.
