why does the hacker tag cost 50 dollars

    this is ridiculous
    if i wanted to be called a hacker i would just download a client
    or
    i could report myself and get a hacker tag rite



    this stuff is really cool but in my opinion tags should be chosen by the one buying it, and depending on the length and other factors the cost would be decided

    because all of the cool stuff is expensive; Brawl knows nobody wants the other ones so they price everything stupidly

    It's just a tag, I don't mind it being 50 dollars, because you know it's a tag, it's not useful or important.

    And I think it's suposed to be a rare tag anyways.

    The most highly demanded tags should be the most expensive. A lot of people will want the hacker tag, lol.

    A few people have already bought the Hacker tag. That's $150.

    It's fine having a tag that the big spenders only have.

    Hacker tag is $50 because some people are willing to spend that much on a tag. We have plenty of cheaper tags for you if you don't want to spend $50 on one (and I can't blame you, I wouldn't buy that).
    This seems like a rather complicated system when all we need to do is make the tags which have a higher demand more expensive. I don't see why the system we have now is problematic.

    We need money to pay for developers. So far, there's 3 people (I believe) who've bought the hacker tag - that's $150 going towards updating the server. You may not want to buy the tag, but some people do, and that benefits Brawl and, indirectly, you.

    you're paying the devs to work on projects that are going to be coming out "soon" when there are still gamemodes that are brokene.

    Wanting more money isn't a bad thing. Money keeps the server up so we can play on it :grinning: besides it's simple logic, put something people want at a higher price, and eventually someone will buy it.

    As everyone has already said:
    Some people are happy to spend that much money, and it helps us when they do. The difference in the prices make the tags differ in rarity. There is no reason to shift blame on us for trying to make money. You don't like it? Don't buy it. There are dozens of $2.99 tags for sale.
