Because they don't need to if they can buy it. If someone actually feels bad and feels like they deserve a second chance, they should have to go and make an appeal to convince staff they really feel bad, not just plug in a credit card number. Also, if it's so few people buying unbans, why does it matter the option is being removed anyway. Again, not trying to be rude, just trying to have a discussion about it.

Another thing, the hackers I've banned have never bought an unban.

The problem with this is that the EULA restricts buying soft currencies that can be used to buy violating features

That's probably just a coincidence then, or just the fact you don't seem to play on WarZ too often.

I myself have gotten very frustrated whenever a hacker I worked so hard to get banned would simply just buy an unban as if nothing had happened, like he would be forgiven of all misdeeds simply because he had a 20 dollar bill in his wallet.

I'm fine with this enforcement personally, even if it does make the server and Mojang money. I've just never liked the pay to play thing.

Then how come it's an issue that the feature is being removed, if it doesn't get used? If what you're trying to get is that people who did things other then hacking or people falsely punished are the ones using it, then why don't they appeal? It just seems kind of stupid that literally everything on brawl was centered around money. Again, I completely disagree with the forced removal of paying for classes on CTF, paying for guns and perks on War, paying for ranks that include it all, etc. However, I am totally all for no more pay for unbans. I know that servers need to make money somehow, they cost quite a bit to run, especially a large network such as this, but unbans are not the way to do it.

its bc most hackers are either players from more popular servers coming to other random pvp servers to mess around with hacks, or people like xturtle

If the unban was $27.00 they wouldn't care in the slightest

They probably would because the money isn't going to them and that's all they really care about

    >Everyone disregarding the fact that Mojang was forced to make this decision because of the servers that charged for $200 ranks and in turn Mojang received thousands of emails and threats from angry parents

A new Minecraft account is $26.95 and name changes are free. So assuming the people are smart the money would actually end up going to them. I know, thats a big assumption but I have hope.

God forbid nothing is ever the child's fault! Theres no way the parents can be at fault for the faulty parenting either!

Sheesh, first there stealing your credit card to buy $200 ranks then there taking there gun to school to shoot the bully. Too far? Meh

I agree, but how are you thinking about doing it? I've seen several petitions on it, with 20k+ people signing them and nothing happening.

What you guys have to remember is that this is all thanks to Microsoft purchasing Mojang. We have seen in the past that Mojang is actually quite chill about things like this, but now that doesn't really matter because it isn't up to them.
