    If you're going to assume that pyro has bad intentions, i'd be one to assume that they abuse. There's been proof of pyro abusing in the past. There's also been proof of multiple staff members making biased decisions and abusing as well. The players on brawl end up letting go of these biased choices and actions but the staff members won't let his action go by and they'll still hold him to it?

    Myortyre (Brittan) is not the one reapplying here.

    It's up to pyro to prove he can be trusted. If upper staff still do not think he can be trusted not to abuse again (he was also extremely toxic at the time and months since) then that's how it is. A thread calling hypocrisy and asking for a second chance is not going to change anything because it does absolutely nothing but start silly arguments. Pyro continuing to be an active, mature, and engaged contributor will, however, make a difference.

    Not really following this thread because it's full of lies and misconceptions, but why are you using "even staff members abuse" as a reason for Pyro to get his builder rank back?

    Staff members that are caught abusing are punished accordingly, either with a warning, or if severe enough of an offense a demotion.

    The same thing happened with Pyro, he was caught abusing (and heavily abusing may I remind you and everyone else. He put a massive spike in the Wild West server's economy).

    That being said, when a staff member is demoted for abusing, 9 times out of 10 they will never be given another chance.

    Now don't get me wrong, Pyro is a phenomenal builder, and I have noticed his efforts to return to the build team. I respect his commitment, but I am quite confused by the points you are bringing up in this thread @Xion.

    bro higher up staff members always have trust issues

    sadly i cant prove that ritzy abused but i wouldnt doubt the higher ups knowing that he did but they still gave him another chance and yeah you can go ahead and say he was demoted for playing with a banned player but he's admitted on different occasions that he has, it's up to him if he actually wants to own up to it or just lie about it. I don't have any proof since i dont ever have intentions of being a scum to someone who's a friend ; )

    Wait I'm sorry, I've admitted to it? This just gets better... If I were to have abused and it being on a serious scale I would've been reported and it would have then got me demoted as it has with many other staff members.

    Last time I'm going to say it now drop the conversation about me on this thread and get back to your opinions on another ex-staff member who actually abused and was therefore punished for it, thank you.

    I love how people are saying that there's no risk in promoting Pyro, or trying to make it seem as if him abusing less than a year ago is no big deal. Abusing is the worst thing a staff member or a team member can do, and I can't blame the higher-ups for not trusting him after that. Brawl will get by without Pyro on the build team. But if we promote Pyro again, and he abuses again, that'll be absolutely pathetic and completely our fault for trusting him again. And no, I don't think he'll abuse again. But, shockingly, I'm not a higher-up and neither are you (probably).

    People are saying that Brawl's in the wrong for not wanting to promote someone who, 9 months ago, abused their builder rank. Do you have any idea how ludicrous and blind that is?

    I think it's quite close-minded to never give out any second changes or believe that he won't abuse again. It was 9 months ago, a very long time and many people can change in that time, you'd be surprised. Also rating my posts funny with no response doesn't help either

    Does a player have the ability to use it? No. Ritzy could use that in many situations. If a player was trying to trick his team into allowed them to pull he could check their echest and say that they had no diamond or something along those lines or seeing someones echest would allow them to know what the person may have pulled which in return allows his team to be prepared ahead of time.

    He should be granted the privilege to build. However, he (and honestly the rest of the build team) should be heavily monitored when they have access to work on maps that will be used on live servers. The reason I bring this up is because these people aren't contracted, so they can do whatever they want, malicious or not.
