Idea Muting and Kicking players on Maps

    Sometimes I want to just mute someone on my map or kick them off for a few minutes because they are being annoying or I want to change something but I can only do that if I private the map or set them to the banned permission. However, if I want them to see the map, they won’t be able to view at as they are banned from it.

    What if there were 2 commands that solved this issue though?

    /mapkick (player) (time) (reason) - Kicks a player off of the map for whatever time, max is 12 hours. You can insert a reason as well if you want them to know why they were kicked.

    /mapmute (player) (time) (reason) - Mutes a player from using chat for whatever time, max is 12 hours. You can insert a reason as well if you want them to know why they were muted.

    Honestly I think being able to ban someone off the map is enough, because a ban is basically a kick as you can just unban whenever you want. And the muting isn't really necessary for obvious reasons; you can either block or ban him/her.

    uh hahaha funny good one, no I want to hit myself off not kick myself off
    Fair enough, it's just sometimes it's annoying when you ban someone and you forgot to unban them.

    I kind of agree with Lekosa on the kick command. It should be fine with just a Ban option. Also it can go ahead and be pretty annoying to keep kicking them, if they decide to join and start to annoy you again. That way, a ban is more efficient.

    The Mute idea however, does have potential. You can make them unable to speak and still able to see the map. That way, you can't be annoyed (chat-wised), but they still have the ability to see what you're making, if that's what they desire.

    I think there should be a disable chat on your map option in /options. This would disable chat for anyone that is below the visitor rank on your map.
