Idea Reset all bans so old players can join again

    So most of you know WarZ players that have been banned? I think it's been a long time. I think brawl should do a ban reset. Leave your thoughts in the comments below this is only a open suggestion.:smile:[​IMG]

    I don't think this is a good idea because banned players were banned because they did something wrong, breaking the server rules and if everyone got unbanned that means big hackers and all of the alts they had would be back it might make a player rise but do you want a player rise of hackers? I know some banned players will have changed but only some and not all old players got banned like your thread says "Reset all bans so old players can join again" a lot of old players left because they got older and there life changes they might have a job and the game gets boring for some.

    Those players got banned for a reason. If they get unbanned there will be a great chance that they will continue to hack.

    The players who are banned should not be able to come back. Nien_ is right, it happened for a reason bringing them back would just restart the cycle of hacking again.

    I wouldn't mind this as long as we absolutely, definitely 100% have enough mods to quickly ban anyone who just comes back and hacks. If we don't have enough staff to deal with unbanning tens (possibly hundreds) of thousands of players, which at the moment we don't, I don't think this should be implemented.

    This isn't a huge issue in my opinion. People who are banned can come back, if they admit to hacking, in a month after their ban. Permbanned players have had plenty of chances, and they can come back in 6 months (which is a bit long in my opinion, it should be shorted to 3 months).

    One thing we do with permbanned players is deny their appeal if they've alted in the last x months. However, a few permbanned players come on and don't actually hack on these alts. Perhaps we should stop doing this? So if someone's permbanned, but have alted in this time, their appeal will still be accepted. Alting will only be held against them if they hacked on these alts.
