Actually, you're doing the opposite. By not allowing staff to see the votes without voting, you're encouraging us to vote to be able to see.

Yeah, but I don't know what's holding them up. Maybe it's not a high priority issue, right now. It's D3, mario, and Putty that have been working on it.

No actually I'm not. It's common sense, if someone does something against the rules they should be punished it's plain and simple.

Good tag m8, I was curious... I'm getting off-topic now. Anyways, like said above, it's common sense.

WolfieOG, you need to see this: we're trying to fix the SYSTEM IN A WHOLE BECAUSE EVEN A FORMER STAFF MEMBER SAYS CHAT REPORT IS BROKEN AS **** AND YOU NEED TO OPEN YOUR GOD DANG EYES YOU.

lmao this reminds me when i got a mute for spam when i was already muted XDDDD

Most of the time staff makes up rules

example: giving a self death threats

also some staff are too harsh with rules

I can say: "Yo man my dogs name is Bella Thorn" and i'll get muted for sexual harassment

I honestly have not noticed staff being strict at all. Maybe it is because I am mainly on kitbrawl, but they seem to have it okay and under control in some areas. I don't know about others.

I wasn't a fan of the warning system, I've actually never used it. I ran by the three strikes you're out method, or one of two depending on the severity of the rule broken. I think, personally that it's hard to get muted or banned. I think this might be due to me being less strict on punishments, often issuing shorter punishments and rarely issuing one because I don't need to. However some people don't learn after their first punishments and repeat it on a daily basis, that's their issue. It's a waste of time to flame, etc rather than actually playing... Well saying if games aren't a waste of time either. A few staff members, are a bit too strict dropping the mute without warning, or with one warning on a slightly less severe rule break. Most are more passive with dropping mutes. The lamest excuse, I've ever heard for a death wish was "kiss your sister".

Well macro, rip your recent resignation and all, but that was just your experiences. Most MODS do it without warning now, so I guess you don't see that pov. That is why we want change man

I've had no problems with strict staff so far, mainly they just ignore the minor offences and if they don't they just tell you not to do it in chat. Maybe that's because War staff isn't as strict as the rest.

I'd like to comment on that topic as well.
First of all, no I don't think we need another/a better moderator handbook. No handbook can prepare the staff team for every single situation. Therefore I like the way our current handbook is handling the issue: Use common sense for punishing. That's the basic idea, next to some few examples. And, as explained above, it's senseful.
Nevertheless there is one thing I agree with: There are a few staff members, who are triggered a little bit faster. So, if I resolve a chatreport without doing anything, because the "offense is too minor", a different staff member might mute you. But I'm personally never afraid to discuss any punishment, ingame ones as well as punishments through chatreports.
The majority of the staff team is extremely chilled. Of course some new JMods might react different than a long-time staff member, but honestly, if you're able to recieve 40+ mutes, it's simply your fault.

Guess you're right but it still doesn't change the fact that I get muted for saying "nice 8v1" or banned for reporting a hacker. The staff team needs some if not a lot of polishing.

What you guys know as staff (the jmods and mods) are only strict because of the poorly written rule system. It's mainly the SMods and Admins who are enforcing/writing these rules and making Jmods and Mods follow them. Maybe if we could rewrite the entire rule system so it doesn't pamper and protect Brawl's 8 year olds, then everyone wouldn't get muted so much.

As I stated above, and jojo backing it up, not all staff memebers are like this. :/
