What is your in-game name? - My in-game name is Hitchens. A list of my previous in game names can be found at https://fi.namemc.com/name/Hitchens


Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - It is both secured and migrated.


How old are you? - I turned 17 a little over a few months ago.


What time zone are you in? - As I live in Finland, it varies. Finland has what is called summer and winter time, which means we here in Finland are GMT +2 during the winter, and GMT +3 during the summer. It is discussed in Finland wether or not we should “remove” summer time and just have GMT +2 all year, and it seems likely that it will happen at some point.


Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - My native languages are finnish and swedish. I speak english well enough to communicate on teamspeak, but other than that there really isn't any languages I speak fluently enough to help players with in-game etc. I took a few french and german classes a few years ago, but I hardly learned anything at all.


What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I found brawl when it was advertised on mcpvp's website in 2012. I logged on mc-war.com and thought, "damn, this really is cool". But as time went by and I did not even figure out how to shoot, I left brawl for a short period of time. I played a lot of mcctf before I finally joined brawl again in early 2013. Until late 2013/ early 2014, when I got banned for hacking, I mostly played war, leveling up to around 40. I appealed my ban, as I thought this was the server I most enjoyed. I decided to never hack again on brawl, and as I have had insane amounts of fun here, it really have been worth it.


I slowly gained in levels on mc-war, and eventually reached level 60 in early 2015. After reaching level 60, and thus reaching my long time goal of getting the 60+ tag, I began to explore other gamemodes on brawl as well. I found minecraftparty, which I truly loved. The community was so nice and positive, and it was fun to play with friends. I started playing mc-warz around this time as well. Even though I enjoyed fighting zombies, constantly losing to other players made me quit. Losing all the time was not what I was used to, and I did not like when it was that way.


Early 2016 was what really brought me closer to the community. I enjoyed playing war more and more, and as I was in clans like 555 etc, I met some of the best online friends I have ever had. I found a new gamemode called wild west shortly before the eula hit brawl. The free elite everyone got for a few weeks because of the eula really helped me getting started. I processed my first drugs and actually got some money out of it. Though I really enjoyed my time on wild west, mc-war was what I really loved, and I kept playing it until around august.


After playing war for around 4 years, it was refreshing to get back to wild west. JustFamouz helped me into Nike after seeing my gunskill, which at the time was much better than it is now. Being in the most powerful team helped me process my first stacks of wild grass, as well as learning the basics of fighting sheriffs. Though I really enjoyed being in Nike, I left it and joined Nerf shortly after . This team brought some competition to wild west, which was really needed at the time.


At some point, Nerf died out, and CROW was recreated by kekable. I created my own team, ”GSG”. This team was quite successful, as we successfully won some fights against CROW. I joined CROW a few weeks later, and I enjoyed all the fights we had against CardX. At some point a lot of CROW became inactive, and I and Eil decided to create the team BOA. This was a time in my life when puberty hit me kind of hard, so I made some dumb decisions I still deeply regret. I was rude to people at times, which, even though it is understandable, Still makes me feel sad inside. As the perfectionist I am, it always hurts me when I do stuff I shouldn't do. Keeping all the dumb stuff I did in mind, it might surprise you this was the time when I really became interested in making a difference on wild west. I came up with a platoon of ideas and discussed them with several staff members on brawl at the time. I feel like some have kind of affected the game already, while some are now a part of the gameplan.


I eventually left BOA (even though I knew I should not have left), and joined CardX. As I had some issues with the dark lord of wild west himself (joker), I could not stay there. I created a small rebellion called INT, and that’s the path I have been on ever since. Teams I have since created and disbanded or just been a part of in the hopes of creating some competition to the dominant team include no less than GSG (GSG 2.0), new INT (I remade that team as well), 1984, XL8R, NET (which turned into the top team after a while), Inti and Simpl. The team 1984 was a team of my ideals. It was small in size, but most actually knew how to use their guns.The fact that I have been teamed with literally everyone at some point, I think have given me a lot. I have got the chance to meet some amazing people in those teams.


What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I am currently Developer on a network called skullcraft. The server usually tops at 20 players every weekday, and can hit as much as 30 players during weekends.

I think this is the appropriate time to address what many of you might see as an issue. Though I have been working hard for skullcraft, wild west and brawl has always been my priority. I could not imagine leaving my duties on brawl undone, because of volunteer job on some little network.


Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - For one thing, I talk to a lot of noobs . I try to help them whenever possible. As stated in my previous application, beeing a staff member would certainly make this more effective.


As proven by my according to many, high quality threads in the ideas sectiond, I want to be a part of making wild west a better gamemode. I am quite sure it would be much more effective as a staff member.


I have also been into planning events lately. One of the events I host myself, is actually going to start in a week, and I am aware the staff team is going to do another of those I have planned. I do think I could do this more effectively as a staff member.


Another important reason is that there is a lack of active wild west mods in eu timezones. Even though the staff members I see always do a good job, and I am surprised of how fast they respond when an issue arises, there's times when there is no staff there to respond. Another watching eye is never a bad, and as I do enjoy helping people I see this as a logical way to go forward.


Summing it up, I want to make wild west a better place for all.


Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have used nodus “back in the days”, which of I will talk more below.


Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - I got legitimately banned on brawl for using spider hacks on brawl in 2013 (or early 2014? I am not sure as I can not see those bans on my history). I also got banned on mcpvp for using a cool tool called cheatengine around the same time. CheatEngine is not a hacked client, but it does some pretty cool stuff which will get the user banned pretty damn quickly. I can give a link to the recording that got me banned on mcpvp if needed, but as I see no need to advertise hacks here, I will not post the video on the thread itself.


What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength would probably be my willingness to help people out. I can spend an hour just standing still and explaining how wild west works if someone asks me to. I always feel bad for not helping if I do not, which is likely because of the way is was brought up.


What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My greatest weakness is probably that I have a tendency to flame at times. Though this is never acceptable as SoCool21 pointed out on my recent sheriff application, I have been working on it, and I think my mute history speaks for itself.


Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - The obvious answer would be wild west (and is wild west), but I am somewhat active on both mc-war and mc-warz as well. Though I enjoy party a lot, I do not play it unless some nice people like featherpaw or @Tjocko are willing to play it with me.

Do you have TeamSpeak? - Yes I do have teamspeak. I am not the most active on ts, and do often have my mic muted. I am constantly improving in this are a tho.


Anything else you would like to state? - Brawl have been my home for a number of years, And I am looking forward to making it a home for others as well.

We, (team INT?) was fighting Putty (we was camping in a tower). I am quite sure it was a 2vs2. I am quite sure one Putty member went rogue at some point. Quite a short time after his rouge timer ran out, I got backstabbed with Cuffs by depresso. Tho we had seen him, We could not rush her earlier because she would have been able to cuff us. She just seemed to wait for the perfect moment to do a cheap backstabb.

But I must say the disrespect I showed was completely unasked for, and I do not think I can justify in it any way. It was a mistake, and I do apologize for it.
