Hello everyone, how are all you fine people today? My name's Fista_Cupz and this is my War Junior Moderator application. I hope that you read this with an open mind and take in what I have to say.

What is your in-game name? -My in-game name is currently Fista_Cupz. This is the history of my usernames: https://namemc.com/profile/Fista_Cupz.4.

Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes, my account is secure and migrated. I went through the migration quite a while ago and have revised the safety precautions I have taken with my account.

How old are you? -I am currently 14 years old, but I will be 15 on the 20th.

What time zone are you in? -I am GMT (Dublin) which is one hour ahead of normal GMT  (London).

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? -My first language is English. I speak it quite well on TeamSpeak and such but I usually use lots of slang and/or shortened words in chat when I'm in game. I'd still like to think I'm good at it. I also speak Irish, I study it in school. I think this makes me quite unique. As far as I know not many other Irish players play the server. Ireland's first language is actually English, so some see it as useless. I don't study any other languages or speak any others.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? -I've played Brawl for over three years and I've gained a lot of knowledge about the server as a whole but mainly War. Here are my stats : https://www.brawl.com/players/Fista_Cupz/. When I first started playing this server, I was attracted to War. It had such a huge community and the server was amazing to me! I quickly became addicted and I instantly knew that this would be the server that I played the most. I've kept playing throughout the years and here I am today. It's really important to me. I've picked up lots of different things about the server. The big things, little things. It's all what makes War/Brawl what it is. As I've picked up all these things I would easily be able to relay them to newer players who maybe don't know as much/ have as much experience.


The staff members are role models to me. I've met so many different amazing people on this server.
The servers I have experience with are :
War : I've been playing the server for so long and I have a lot of things to thank it for.
Raid : I've started to play Raid as I like the idea of it.
WildWest : I haven't played much WildWest but it's a very interesting concept.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? -
To put it simply, I have no experience being a staff member on any public servers. I have owned a couple of servers and ran them for a while and it was really fun but also hard work. I would love to be a staff member on Brawl though. It would make me really happy if it was the first server I was a staff member on. I would try really hard.
Also, as I feel it's relevant, I'm currently a Mod in GSG, a clan on War. It's a huge clan and being mod takes a lot. I work hard to set an example for other GSG players and all players alike on War. I think it teaches me to keep mature and gives a sense of responsibility.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? -
I want to be a mod on Brawl just to do my bit for the community. I think it's important to give back, especially since Brawl has given me so much over time. I want to help out, and do my part.
Also (not trying to slate anyone) but a lot of the War staff members are not really that active. I really don't want to come off rude but it's true. I understand that they are busy but it seems like they are everywhere except War. I'm really active on War, aka a couple of hours every single day. This could be put to good use by me being a staff member. At the end of the day I'm doing it for the health of War and Brawl.
I would listen to the community and there suggestions.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? -
I have used a hacked client on both Single Player and on Multiplayer Servers. I always would get so angry at the hackers on any server I played.. I always thought, '' What if I hit back at them? ''. This is the total wrong mindset to have. So I decided to use a couple of different hacked clients. I did not use them for very long as I realised it was wrong but I deeply regret using them and making playing Minecraft less fun for other players. I apologise.
However, I have never hacked on Brawl and believe me, I never will. Ever.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? -
This is the link for my player history on Brawl https://www.brawl.com/history/player/fista_cupz. I have been punished before on Brawl and on another server, but we shall talk about my Brawl punishments first.
Brawl : Mutes:
I was unfortunately muted on War for saying ' Kys '. I really understand now the deepness of those three letters and why it was wrong. At the time I thought that I was saying it as a joke and it could be considered somewhat funny. I realized that I was very wrong in even letting that thought slip into my mind. I am so very deeply sorry for saying that and I never shall say it again. It's wrong and I understand that now.
Brawl : Bans:
My profile says that I was banned four times on Brawl. Three of these bans are false. The one that was not false was a ban for glitching. I do not remember what I was doing but I'm very sorry for breaking those rules. I was unbanned in an hour. The other two Automatic Bans were on Raid. I was playing with a friend and I ran through a two by two tunnel of ice, because I could hit my head on top and I was able to run very fast. I assume the server thought I was cheating and I was banned. I did the same thing again and I was banned again. I appealed the ban. The other ban was for being the alternate account of 'Ry23an'. I have no clue who this even is and I appealed and I was unbanned. I'm not sure why I was banned because I am not an alternate account of that player.
I deeply regret these punishments.
I was also banned on a server named Mineplex. I was banned for hacking. I am sorry and deeply regret it.
I know that I have hacked before but it will not happen ever ever again. It's been a long time since I've used a hacked client( around two years) and I have grown as a player and a person in real life and now through hindsight I see the negativity in what I was doing. I really would like if I was given a chance to show everyone what I could do despite my history and my past. I'm very sorry, and I won't hack again, period. It's not good.

What do you consider your greatest strength? -My greatest strength is my sense of humour. I think this is an important trait to have. It's important to stay positive ya know. People need to lighten up and have a good time. Why ruin it by being narcissistic and rude? There's no need. Laugh, have a good time. I feel like the staff members who are able to joke around and have a good time with the community are able to connect the most with the players.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? -My greatest weakness is TS activity. I've been getting on TS a lot more with my friends though. I'm so used to using Skype that through habit I get on Skype instead of going on TS. I'm always improving!!

Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? -The server I am most active on on Brawl is War.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? -I have made two Brawl staff application in the past.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? -My last application was submitted on April 29th, 2017.

Do you have TeamSpeak? -Yes I have TeamSpeak.

Anything else you would like to state? - I love this server and all I am asking for is a chance.

I do try to go on TS but every time I log into a public channel there is always some person who logs in and causes havoc. I then try to go into private channels whenever I get the chance. That would be the only time I ever go on TS.
As for my Forums activity there is not much to post about in the "Mc-War" section. But I do post a lot in a private channel to the GSG Staff Members. But if I do get a chance to post about something I will do so.

If I was to give a different weakness it would be the fact that I am quite strict. Whenever I have owned a server I would be quite strict and sometimes "unfair" in situations. I have been working on this for a long time now. I was 12 or 11 and I have matured a lot from then. I think and am pretty sure I would be able to handle the power of JMOD. What I'm saying is I don't think I would be as strict as I used to but I am not 'positive' on this. I have been told by some players that I take my GSG MOD position in Mc-War to seriously and should just take it a bit easier on players.

 

I understand where you are coming from with all the words about how sorry I am. Its just I don't know how much I have to say it to get it through. Most of my punishments are either false or unintended. As for the maturity I understand as well. I try my best to improve my maturity. I don't want to bring up to much about GSG but from my experience being a part of the team has brought up my maturity a lot since I joined back to Mc-War.

Going on to the "Why do you want to become a moderator for Brawl?" and your question. I see that many staff members of war have had stat drops and also activity cut down but I would be willing to do that. Why I would?
Well I understand that I haven't responded to players questions when I am in game or out of game. Most of the time the reason for that is because a staff member is on and its their duty to answer the players question (Don't want that to come out the wrong way :/). When no staff member for War is on I normally answer his or her question as best I can. As I know a lot about War the questions are mainly very simple to my eyes. I can see what you mean by "Why is there need for a rank?" But to answer that for you, I think if I had the tag it would show more superiority and it would also give me authority to lay down what is 'Right or Wrong'. If it is not "War" related then I am breaking the rule of Mini-Moding. I have helped people before and in some cases they tell me "I want a staff member" in a certain situation. Unfortunately in some cases there is no Staff Member. I hope you can see what I am getting at.

I know that I can deal with things like arguments or harassment. I don't know if being a mod for GSG is anything like being a JMOD but from what I have seen it its not that different. I have blacklisted and kicked many players from GSG just like a JMOD would do with a rule breaking player so I consider that as somewhat experience. Yesterday (I wont name the player) he started to do all sorts of stuff such as flame, flood and disrespect. I thought that I dealt with it in a good manner. I know you have already heard that @SkullcrusherLD but I just wanted to put it out there as an example.

I understand that "Right and Wrong" sounds quite strict. Now that I give a good think about it it sounds something like what a police officer would say. After all this is just Minecraft. I can see that probably my weakness is most likely being too exacting and being over strict (If that makes sense). I will work on this now and make sure to perfect it. This is probably the thing needs to be looked at the most with great attention. I also try to be more 'cheerful' and fun in chat. I don't intend to be this full on and apologise.

Ok. Well I am on for at least 2 hours a day as you can see from my stats. For the forum activity.
There is not much on the forums these days especially in the Mc-War section. I am in a private conversation and I am on the forums often. If I do get a chance to reply to something I will do so. Thanks for the feedback!
