This quiz I find better than the Political Compass one. It's 70 questions, but you should whiz right through them, if you know what to answer. Take a screenshot of your results and post them here.
Thanks to @BAWSS5 for finding it.

    Here's mine.

They can use "safety nets" to help them get by. Just don't turn them into "safety hammocks".

    that's a nice right-wing slogan
is it ok if I use that if I ever become a Republican?

btw I actually agree, I just think we'd disagree on what constitutes a net and what constitutes a hammock. To me, free healthcare is a net.

If you're poor and it's hard for you to get by, you can use entitlements or safety nets like welfare to help lift you up. They should use them to the point where they can be independent and get off of them.
If they continue to use them after they've become stable or are just living off of them without trying to become stable or are wasting the welfare on unessential items, that's when it becomes a hammock. It's greedy and wasteful. The likes of those are taking money away from people who actually could need it.

    "people who actually need it"

I'm for paying for welfare safety nets by taxing the billionaires and millionaires. They don't need it all.

Out of interest, are you in favour of raising the minimum wage and/or universal healthcare? I don't universal healthcare is greedy, it's asking the mega-rich to pay for something that can save many lives and is a basic human right in many countries.

Wow you're like me on steroids :open_mouth:
Are you actually a communist? Like, you would vote for a communist party?

On minimum wage, sure, we should raise it, but we need to be careful not to raise it too high. Seattle, Washington raise theirs to $15. I don't know if it's working or not. There are conflicting arguments from both sides.
One side says it's working without any hiccups, and people are getting decent paychecks. The other side is saying with the worker's higher pay, they risk losing entitlement benefits. Therefore, the workers are cutting back work hours for a lower pay in order to keep their free housing and welfare. This is creating a society of laziness.

On government run healthcare, I don't know. Just like the minimum wage argument, there are so many conflicting arguments. Apparently, people's premiums are rising from Obamacare. Will people die waiting for treatment? That apparently was the case with the Veterans Association here in the US, which apparently functioned like single payer system. In the words of former Nevada Senator Harry Reid, are all of these critical stories about government healthcare lies, made of whole cloth, and are untrue?

Take say a single payer health care system. As everyone gets the care no matter how much they earn, there are no such traps. If the system was to be privaticed, and the poor beeing helped economically instead, this would certainly create traps, as you would loose this economic benefit as you move up the income scale.

A bit left of my political compass test. Regardless, I'm not anywhere near most people on brawl.

Also, Vote one (an app) gives cool breakdowns for each box. I've also attached my results from that.

I've noticed my results slowly shifting left over the last year, but I've stayed mostly in the same spot.

    You are quite globalist.

    At any rate, here's mine.

    https://8values.github.io/results.html?e=57.3&d=54.3&g=65.4&s=74.2

My phone didn't like the screenshot tho so
    Economic: Centrist, with Equality 57.3%
    Diplomatic: Balanced, with World 54.3%
    Civil: Liberal, with Liberty 65.4%
    Social: Progressive, with Tradition 74.2%

Overall result: Social Liberalism, although I don't like identifying under a title as a rule, so...

How many of you voted agree or strongly agree on the one-world government question, because (getting religious here) that's apocalyptic in Christianity.

I disagreed with it, but not strongly; I think a one world government COULD be beneficial... but I wouldn't trust anyone to run it.

****, I don't like the dudes currently in power in Canada; imagine not liking the people in control of the World.

There would be too much potential for total control, so while an ideal government could be beneficial we don't live in an ideal world.
