    New idea thread chain incoming.
    These are going to handle one kit a week, and what reworks are needed to balance it out well.
    I'm going to start with Fisherman this week since it's a kit I've encountered a lot recently.
    Fisherman is initself a decent kit - anti-runner, mostly a trapping kit however.
    But how is it unbalanced?
    First off, there is no cooldown on your rodding. This is something that needs a major change - you can spam-fish someone across the entire map, or employ a "rod-hit-run" strategy, which is very easy and very annoying.
    I'd suggest being able to fish someone every 5 seconds - "fish" meaning hook someone (you can throw as much as you want of course).
    Additionally, this cooldown can only go down to 3 seconds when you actually have someone on your reel, to ensure it stays balanced.
    Another nice change would be 1.5 seconds of invincibility against explosion and fire damage (fall and player damage can still be applied). This is to prevent Demoman + Fisherman traps that are utterly inescapable, but combined with the change above this would do some good to the kit.
    Also - Fisherman should be able to get a fish within 3 seconds of throwing its reel into water.

    Thoughts? More changes?

    These just seem like unnecessary nerfs. Fisherman is not very OP in my opinion - sure, it's ability is very strong, but that's what makes it a fun kit.

    It does need a change - the myriad of traps available are now even harder to counter with the removal of kits such as Ninja, Kangaroo, or Neo.
    Oh yeah, still waiting on the Kit List Changes reply :smile:

    I know you're writing this coz of the traps yesterday xd
    I think they're OP, but counterable though. Don't think this needs a nerf
