Idea WarZ 2.0 (Based off Player's Suggestions)

    Hey Brawl Community!
    Recently, WarZ has been receiving a lot of hate.
    And I asked some players what they would like changed.
    This is the average results:
    (Please keep in mind some of these are created by 1 player.)
    [Also, if you disagree with these, don't attack me. I didn't come up with this]
    1. Less Chests (Now it's just sit in a village and get O.P Gear.)
    2. Less food in those chests. (To easy to find food nowadays)
    3. Fix Map (Item) (Not obligated, very optional but very wanted) (As well make these very rare to get
    due to the fact in this update memory and planning is a huge step)
    4. Lost Shelters (Very good protection, but with no roads leading to it to add a bit more realism
    and difficulty.)
    5. Not as many roads. (Adds more strategic thinking, memory, realism, and less hard for builders.)
    6. AirDrop Change. (Keep cords in chat for airdrops, but no beacon. Keeps the memory theme alive.)
    7. Item Rarity. (Currently, each item has almost the same rarity and can be find in almost any chest.
    I think some items' rarity can decrease or increase.)
    8. Vanilla Weapons. (I think some would enjoy the decrease chance of guns. And perhaps a addition of
    vanilla swords and bows. I think this would change the storyline of the actions the players make.)
    9. Different Structures. (I think by removing dirt paths and roads could also fix the theme for this
    version and add more memory needed skill, and it would change the difficulty once again.
    10. Thirst Issue. (I, personally, would enjoy having more pressure on yourself by adding a thirst bar.
    Maybe replace the "Pepsi" with water bottles to keep the thirst bar a thing.)

    1. No, we want players to get loot more, so it is a more interesting game (new players can play easier, and more fights = more players)
    2. I agree, it would allow for the gamemode to be more strategical
    3. Yes, but everyone should still spawn with it, the map should show enemies within half of the compass range (I don't know it), and show where friends are, no matter of proximity
    4. Yes, I think they should have a longer loot refill timer, and be the equivalent of zone 6's (2-3 on the map) and a few more that are lower zones.
    5. No, there need to be roads to allow new players to navigate easier.
    6. Wouldn't hurt.
    7. Make the essentials (food, paper, bones, pepsi, water bottles, etc.) rarer along with armor, and boost the chances of finding guns and ammo.
    8. No. Bows are an awful idea. Our guns set us apart from MineZ.
    9. New buildings, but keep the roads.
    10. Yes, but pepsi and water bottles do the same thing.

    1. Less loot makes the game less fun. However, less good loot could be an option.
    2. If the food were to heal you more, this could be an option. However, with a critical shot to a 3/4 with a Barrett dealing ~9-9.5 hearts of damage this would only be possible with a total food rework.
    3. The map is harder to navigate than it is to navigate to a set of coordinates, which everyone would have the coordinates of the good locations within a few days.

    5. This decreases the realism of the game, which you seem like you value. Not having roads makes the map look stale, and doesn't allow similar building styles and towns to be connected. There could be roads that lead to nowhere, or to low loot areas.
    6. This serves no purpose. If you have the coordinates of the airdrop, why would you need to memorize where it is going to land?
    7. I do want item rarity, but that the current rarity statement is completely wrong. You will find 5 diamond helmets or boots before you find a diamond chestplates, and 2 diamond chestplates before you find a gapple.
    8. Defeats the whole point of WarZ, which is guns.
    9. New buildings and themes, but roads are needed.
    10. This statement confuses me, but I would like there to be more urgency to consume water or Pepsi. Perhaps remove Pepsi entirely so you need to return to the Water in order to stay hydrated.

    Yeah, remove pepsi and replace it with Water to stay hydrated.
    If we always keep roads, this wouldn't be realistic.

    I mean, maybe some minor roads could be reduced to pathways or trails to indicate a less important destination, but maybe keep some that run north/south in order to let players know where to head for better loot? (That is, if better loot will be in the north and people spawn in the south)

    10. There's already a thirst bar/issue. Nothing needs to be changed here, Pepsi refills your thirst a little bit, water bottles refill it a lot.

    Roads are made of asphalt. So, unless blown apart by explosives, the roads would probably last for centuries after humans.

    1. Lootings hard enough as it is and whitenames always complain about having to run up and loot just to be killed by a team. chests are much needed. if there is less chests then why buy boosters? = less money for brawl

    3. Not entirely sure what is meant by this but if you're talking about chunk loading, empty/broken chests or glitched doors, I'm all for this idea

    5. On old map there's little roads to speak of and new map the only roads are in zone 5- towns or transitions between zone 6's. Why would there be an industrial area, or a construction zone in the middle of nowhere with no roads? -1

    8. There already are swords, which are useless against armored players. Also, decreased chance in guns will just mean less boosters being bought, the bigger teams hording the loot in a stabilizing selective way. -1

    9. Memory ≠ skill. +1 for different structures, -1 for less roads

    10. Why replace pepsi with water bottles? They both already exist

    lol. I mean, Ya'll are trying to revive warz. but half of you don't even know why it became a wasteland.

    1. Toxicity.
    2. Alot of camping spots got removed/Adjusted.
    3. Huge teams became OP because of reason 2.

    My favorite memory of WarZ was in 2013/2014, I used to go to the prison on the old map, would try to get a boat & a dragunov and go to East-airfield. After that I would go to Snow to loot & fight against other people ( aka camping my ass off ). The intense fights between teams were hella fun even if you lost the fight.

    WarZ in 2014 was great.

    4. Nades counter almost every camping spot and teams become even more OP because of reason 2.

    1. I don't think it's "easy"
    2. Food is important. That is why it is abundant
    3. Everyone should still spawn with them because they are pretty useful, especially if they display you and friends

    9. I personally have the entire map memorized, so what would be the value in this?
    10. That sounds pretty annoying, especially when you can just /kill and go bsck to your friends
