    This is Desert Lands, its a desert style map made for any of the Mc-War gamemodes. I hope you like it.

    It's a really good build, but too open between the two towns. More cover would be awesome between the two towns such as more trees, a path with a couple buildings, and some other cover. Looks really good and I think could be put in to the rotation if you add some of the stuff listed above! :grinning:

    Nice build! But as DarkTitan_ said it is far too open.
    Try including some more obstacles throughout. As well as more even separation between the included towns, it looks uneven from above.

    The map still looks too open - also, the map is way too flat.

    Like others said it is too wide open and too flat. You could also change up the texture of the floor/ground. The colors really don't look appealing to me, as it looks like a big mess that was slopped onto the ground. Edit: Also what is the size of the map?

    As of now I would rate the map a +/-0. Good luck.

    Ok, so we went and made a mountainous wall instead of the coal one, and added an oval-like mound in the middle. It takes about 8 seconds to get to you own flag and about 20 seconds to get to the other team's.

    The sand and the red sand don't blend very well in my opinion. I'd try something else with the sand, gravel, birch wood planks, etc.

    Just my opinion, although they are both sand blocks, I don't personally like how to two sand colors go together, just my opinion though. Other than that it's a pretty nice map. :smile:

    Yeah, that's why it was updated, all read sand was changed to birch planks.

    The other side will be made into an exact copy when its 100%, therefore I wont have to build everything twice.

    I might be a bit late with this, but does it looks like I care? :penguin:

    Ok, sorry for that, let's "dyve" into this!

    The maps outlook is pretty good, but the map is way too open and way too flat, it seems like you just added some random hills on a flat surface.

    Improve the flatness by having pits and hills, you can have it flat on some places, but not at the same lever all over the map.
    By just adding pits and hills you've already built up some cover, you got the pits where you can hide, because that works... and hills to climb up to and get a bullet in your head.
    Well, it's going to work, when you play smart.
