    but he will profit from a cpu 20$ cheaper. But you are right more threads than cores provides a very menial difference in performance

    The price of the graphics card increased from $270 to $600 somehow. Replaced it with one that is correctly priced.

    Is Etherium mining worth it though?
    Bitcoin is much more reliable and more wide-spread too.

    according to the fact that there are literally no rx 580s/570s/480s/470s in stock or at non inflated prices, yes, i would say it is worth it (the mining craze is starting to hit 1060 and 1070s as well, wonderful)

    maybe go for a 570 instead of a 580 when it comes back in stock, really youre going to wait a while for the ethereum mining to die down

    OR get this noice ole deal on an i7 6700 and an rx 480 then take out the 480 and sell it for $400 on ebay then get a 1070
