Some opinions

You can never know for certain that your base has been xrayed. There are probably tonnes of people who spams mods about xray checks on all of their raided bases. Does not seem like you have a lot of patience, young man.

 

The thing is that you can only highly doubt it.

 

They only dug through 2-3 layers of dirt/stone, if they tracked you, that could just be the point where they started digging. We can never be perfectly sure that someone is XRaying, but we definitely need more than that to ban. The best way is to add secret chests to your base, if they dig straight to them, we usually accept it as proof.

When we bought the 3 servers from MCPVP (not 4, Raid is our own product), the playerbase was already declining. Obvious, otherwise MCPVP wouldn't have to shut down and sell them. We actually spent a lot of resources on developing them: NomNuggetNom worked on CTF and Build, Totom worked on HG. It did take us a while until HG was officially out of Beta (even though it was fully playable even throughout Beta), but we were never as big of a network as MCPVP. There is only so much we can do at once.

However, even after these changes, various HG events and some videos on the YouTube channel, the player count constantly decreased. The player count on CTF is still good and at some times Build even overtakes Party in regards of player count.

Regarding YouTube: We did try to keep the MCPVP channel alive. We uploaded 2 more Top 5's and various trailers, community montages and more. However, there were 2 significant problems:
First, any videos we uploaded - except the one created by BadBoyHalo - got lots of dislikes and negative comments, simply because it was not MCPVP and not BadBoyHalo. The subscribers of the channel subscribed to see content from MCPVP and on HG - we are not MCPVP and HG is not our only server and was never the most important server for us. So it is understandable that the subscribers dislike the content we upload, but at the same time it makes the channel un-usable for us.
Second, we didn't have enough Top 5 submissions to keep the series running. Both Top 5 Kills and Fails got very few submissions back then, partially because there were simply less players and partially because BBH started his own Top 5.

Regarding Twitter: We are still constantly tweeting about events and such, but despite the 20,000 followers the tweets get almost no attention.

Regarding Twitch: It is a pity that we can't stream more, but a) we do not have any professional streamers in our staff team and b) we will have the same issue as with the YouTube subscribers.

 

In my opinion brawl does not need any "professional" streamers. It doesn't really seem that hard to use OBS, so I think you can make a few staff members stream various game modes. You only need some entertaining persons with good mood. This is a way to get more players. If you shout the stream out in game, it will pop up quite high on twitch and more people will tune in.

Adding to what Lord_Roke has said - Before Brawl bought parts of MCPVP, we had a gamemode called Survival PvP, this was similar to MCPVP's Raid, without some of the more factions sided features, but still with tracking and the hardcore survival aspect. Survival PvP was then later renamed 'Raid' as a tribute to MCPVP, but the actual server was, and still is Brawl's Survival PvP.

Xray - If you ask any staff member to check it for Xray, they will do so, or pass it onto a staff member who is more competent at Xray checking, you need simply ask. There are many factors which need to be considered and checked when looking at potential X-ray. As Lord_Roke has said, they only dug through a small amount of dirt and stone, and this alone is not enough to ban (there may be other factors about the raid, the raider etc. which could add to the proof). A ban is a harsh punishment, and should only be delivered if it is justified - It should not be given based off un-solid evidence.

Regarding your chat buffer issue - After changing the GUI, you went to scale up your chat in Multiplayer settings. In that same menu you can also increase the chat width. Changing this will allow you to extend the chat buffer up to your hotbar and further (whatever you choose to set it at).

 

In your video, you showed a clip on raid 10 minutes before the KOTH. The staff could be busy during this event.

 

As Jeenss said, we can't always read all of chat, and often things get missed. If you wish to request an Xray check, do so through PM, not global chat - That way we have a much greater chance of seeing your message.
