Simple fix

Dependent in the Oxford Dictionary: A person who relies on another.

In this case it is that I dependent on cuffs. This means that you're saying that all I use is cuffs. So yes it does mean I only use them, which I obviously don't as I use a variety of guns, swords and cuffs. Therefore your initial observation is wrong in my opinion.

Back on to topic, I can see where people are coming from with this but I still feel it takes away from the experience. If you don't want to be cuffed, be vigilant at all times and don't AFK process.

 

I like it because I hate cuffing since and, it also prevents people from waiting to get an easy headshot from close range

 

But cuffing is part of the game. You can't remove something just because you dislike it.

 

This is funny. You cuffed me and poix yesterday when our entire team was kos, so let's not tell lies.

 

But I don't solely use cuffs as in the same day I also killed Nafsu and Japhango with guns. So don't tell lies. I don't JUST use cuffs is the statement I said, and it's clearly untrue.

So basically to open fire not cuff (even if the rouge didn't attack at you first) instead of trying to cuff them.

 

Seems fair.

 

Maybe to help in those 1v4s the cuffs only have a certain amount of uses?

+1, waiting for them to shoot first is pointless / gives the attacker an advantage.

 

A sheriff uses whichever tool they see is best to use for the situation - Some sheriffs choose to limit cuff use since it can annoy players. I am well known for cuffing - Depending on the situation, I will use cuffs or guns, or a mix of both. If I am heavily outnumbered, I can either log off, call more sheriffs (which in many cases isn't an option), or I can try get a few good cuffs in to lower my enemy count, and then take the fight from there.

I can see the thinking behind your idea, however it wouldn't actually change anything for me - All it changes is which should take priority. The classic excuse for 'why did you cuff me, we are KOS, just fight properly' is 'Cuffing is our priority' - This change would simply make the last quote 'Cuffing is part of attack strategies'

In short, I don't think this soul change would actually result in the desired effect.
