Mails

The concept it pretty simple and the use of the command could be very useful when someone is offline.

This command will help players communicate somehow even when the other member is offline. The player can send a mail to a specific player even when he is offline. Once the player comes online the mail will still be there and could be checked out upon typing a special command.

Sending mails: /mail send (player)/everyone (message) - Example: /mail send SoCool21 Get SMOD
Checking mails: /mail check/read - This will show a list of mails and their senders
Clearing/Deleting mails: /mail clear/delete (number of mail)/all

Once the play joins he will get a message "reminder" that tells him about new mails. He can either send a new one, check out his other ones or delete all of them.

The "/mail send everyone" will find a good use on the hands of Administrators which want to pass an important message to all players even when they are offline.

What are your thoughts of this?

 

For those who don't prefer these.

For example we have PMs on forums (which work like mails), why not having a similar function in-game?

 

This would fill your chat with mails. I prefer having to do a special command before you see the mails.
