    It's been less than 48 hours.
    This gamemode was executed very poorly. It's Saturday evening, when there should be a lot of players ready to play some Battle Royale. No announcement of the time of launch? No tutorial when you start the game? How do you expect to retain players who haven't heard of H1 or Boringgrounds? I was excited. Now I'm unable to find loot because I have no clue how to navigate the map. If I spawn in a place that doesn't give me an automatic or a shotgun, I'm screwed because once I get to another place, the good loot is already in the hands of another player.

    I'm playing on the edge of the fence, and I'm about to fall on the bad side.

    Get outta my face, Brawl.

    Thank you for your opinion. Please proceed with how there could be changes to help improve the game. It just came out so not everything will be perfect.

    Well, obviously there are no maps to view the gas border. However I think that's just something being fixed and will be re-added soon.

    I think a lot of little things in the game were focused towards games with 50+ players, but that simply isn't going to happen any time soon. For example, the fact that helmets break in 2-4 hits makes it very hard for newer players to survive against the AR15 or AK. In fact, I've gone several minutes in games without even knowing my armor had broken. Maybe players could be notified in chat when their armor breaks, and an increase in the durability of helmets would help players understand how armor durability works and teaches them to carry more than enough helmets and chests.

    Also, I'm not sure if this is a known issue or not, but I get regeneration from bandages instantly, so the progress bar is useless. Obviously the bandages are only intended to start healing after a little delay, but the regen starts instantly.

    On a similar note, I think healing in the game is less than satisfactory. Bandages only doing regen to heal a total of 2 hearts should be changed to having a delay (as intended, but not currently working) and instantly healing those 2 hearts, even if the delay is 2-2.5 seconds or so. Another thing is that because bandages are so abundant and are so easy to use, I think medkits need a buff. I haven't used the medkit enough to know how many hearts it does (lol), but I think the total hearts should be split, so maybe half of them are instant and the rest are from regeneration. In PUBG, there is a delay for the healing items, but then it heals instantly. Regen overall is too slow, which again makes it hard for newer players because they will die faster the worse the healing items are.

    This was just off the top of my head, I wrote this up in a few minutes. The ideas could be refined, but I think that in general, they are appropriate and need to be added.

    I agree with most of these except for the helmet breaking. I can see where you are coming from with the newer players but you have to remember that this gamemode is based off the game and from what I know from PUBG, helmets get popped pretty fast.

    Some of the mechanics do indeed need modifications.

    Signatured has been working on improving how fast the armor and helmets. They work well in games like PUBG, but on Minecraft its just far too easy to accidentally hit head shots and chest shots. So we are trying to take a more Minecraft durability approach.

    I agree that healing is also weird. The way it works right now is that they are instant with cooldowns in between uses. We haven't really spoke about ideas to resolve health though.

    Maps were temporarily removed due them being the sole reason why the server was lagging. Still working on a proper non-lagging implementation of them.

    And don't be so mean about the player count :frowning:
    The server has had its ups and downs so far. We're still working on more formal advertising, but I'd rather sort out the main issues first before we also lose those players.

    Agreed about map navigation. While I like the gamemode as a whole, I find myself spending a lot of time running around the map looking for loot. What tends to happen is 1) the loot is already taken by other ppl or 2) loot is in an area already covered by gas so I can't get to it. This detracts from the gameplay experience since, instead of pwning noobs, I'm hunting for items (often for 10-15 minutes) while trying not to die.

    Also locating enemies tends to be difficult by just knowing their general direction since you don't know how far away they are. Perhaps adding a mechanic, similar to HG's Spy kit (as an item upgrade you can find in game) would be worth considering?

    We plan on adding many more loot locations. We're also getting things ready for some major Battle Royale advertising which you should be seeing over the next few days. I'm also working on getting maps back into the game for easier navigation. Your concerns have been heard and we are making steps in the direction to keep the players satisfied.

    now calm down doc and have a gin n tonic
