    from what the woman was saying in the video, it would probably be pretty easy for people to tell she was depressed or suicidal even if she didnt realize it

    Because the scientists used specific compounds that are known to contain certain atoms. We know they contain those specific atoms because of basically all of chemistry (a field I believe neither of us are qualified to debate about)

    I know He exists, and I'm not going to live a life of sin to please corrupt and evil humanity. If I'm going to be hated for following God, so be it. It's worth it. It's badge of honor. It is said in the Bible that the world will hate you for being a Christian.

    Sodom and Gomorrah deserved it. They were evil societies shamelessly engaging in sin. If God decided to throw all of humanity into Hell, it would be justified. We deserve it. Every single human being is a sinner, and sin is responsible for all the bad things you see around you. Pain, disease, hate, and death. However, God is merciful to give us a chance in life to focus on Him and to accept Jesus into our hearts so that we can join Him in His domain, which is what He really wants us to do.

    I don't know relevance of this question to everything else. I think you're just vulgarly trolling, but I try not to. Doing so would require me to think about a person, and I would be guilty of fornication in my heart, which of course is a sin.
    You don't need to see God to believe in Him. Humans can be smarter than that. Although, if you saw God, you would be destroyed. That's how powerful He is.

    Okay. There are many facts in the bible proven to be false, and many somehow proven to be true. I don't know about you, but I don't really want to trust information given to me by humans that have not fully developed a true understanding of the world 2016+ years ago.

    Don't use an anecdote like this. Air can be tested scientifically so that we can see before our own eyes. We can extract different noble gases from the air, we can test that air has a mass, can be compressed and is part of the reason why our water bottles aren't a vacuum. We can test the properties of hot air (tends to rise, huge factor in air balloons). Can we test God to see before our own eyes? (Don't say "I feel something warm in my heart". That's good to hear, but not enough to convince others.) God may be real, or not. Maybe it's something above human conception.

    "Science is flawed and cannot prove anything"
    This part ticks me off. Science is the reason you are able to interact with the world on a whole other level than humans thousands of years ago. Before science, you wouldn't even have the luxuries you live with everyday. We have used science to improve our lifestyle.
    Take sugar mixed with water for example!
    You stir the sugar in the warm water, after a while, you cannot see the sugar anymore, but you can taste the sweetness in the water, right? This proves that the sugar dissolved into small compounds in the water(that we cannot see) , but the properties are still there!

    "Evolution is too absurd to believe"
    The theory of evolution states that humans didn't pop into existence, but were merely developed from previous species. That is why they concluded we might have developed from apes. Somehow during prehistoric eras, the genes of the apes started to mutate into something.... better. Something that would thrive in the harsh environments in the world, they started to walk on two legs, gained knowledge on how to use tools- and here we might be today.
    How is this so absurd? I find "popping into existence by God" to be more absurd.


    In conclusion, I'm not trying to prove or disprove the evidence of God. I believe religion in general is a harmonic way of life some people choose to live by because it puts them at a state of peace. I have no objection to that. I am a buddhist myself and I hope everyone finds the life and faith they choose to live by to be happy. I have chosen to believe in science and mathematics to to understand the world while your choice might be different. Either way, we all have to cooperate together to make it a better place.

    Please tolerate my essay writing skills, I'm too rusty.

    Anyway, continue the discussion without saying "Because He is real and this world will rot in hell for not believing in Him" or "Christianity is the most powerful religion in the world so it must be true!"
    Other than that, this is a really sensitive topic and I wish people wouldn't try to intrude on the beliefs of other people. I don't know about you, but I choose to live my life the best I can in an attempt to understand this whole world.

    The Bible was written by God through several men throughout history. Therefore, it can't be wrong in anyway, because God is perfect.

    Christians reject sciences that conflict with the Bible as it is God's Word. Again, God is perfect, but man is flawed. Any Christians that do believe in evolution are putting more faith in humanity than God.

    Science may be able to prove God's existence and other things related to God. It's probably just that humans are so feeble-minded we cannot see these supernatural things.
    I don't know. Maybe you should read "I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist". I'd like to get my hands on that book and read it. I heard it's a good book.

    Maybe there is evidence of God's existence beyond just faith among the hardcore apologetics. I maybe too lazy to scour for them. Most atheists aren't going to consider apologetics as evidence, because that's a bunch of preachers who go out to scientifically prove the gospel as factual.
