I am 13 but active, is it worth applying?

    I thought hard about posting this because some people might not like it but here goes. Once a month I see some 13 year old get accepted for the moderator position but it is required to be 14+ so I have been anxious to apply for 5 months but I haven't due to that age limit so I finally asked if its worth a shot. I can't stand waiting but my birthday is near the beginning of next year and I plan to apply around than but if I were to apply it's because im just desperate to apply so here I am back to the question, is it worth it?

    There's really no age limit, but the recommended age is 14+. You can apply whenever you feel like applying, just make sure that you are active, have good grammar, help people, etc. etc.

    The worst they can say is no. Just apply, and if you're denied, wait until your 14 and apply again. :smile:

    You could apply, but be ready for flame war if it isn't "Exceptional". It's really a personal opinion.

    For basically only a month or two of activity I consider that good. I was inactive for a couple of months because my desktop broke but I still managed to get back on whenever I could on my iPhone. If you don't think thats enough though I completely respect that!

    As I stated above geo, its a personal opinion. There's no use in arguing with some of these people as you're either --
    1. Ready for mod.
    2. Not ready for mod.
    Completely up to how you act and treat these kind of situations.

    We actually have mods that are 13. There is no age limit, but admins usually prefer people 14+, but if your app is good and you show you deserve the position, you may get accepted.
