Another Proposed Sheriff Handbook Change

Introduction
I am proposing this change that will alter the sheriff handbook slightly which can be found here. I am proposing we change the rule concerning sheriff's being online at the same time as their bandit alt. The current rule is "Sheriffs may not process at a rebel base on an alt with their sheriff account online." This rule has become outdated and simply does not include enough things. At the current moment a sheriff could be online and have their alt rogue, robbing conductors, and fighting other players and still not be in violation of any rules.

The Change
We should change this rule to include all illegal activities/places. The rule should be somewhere along the lines of "Sheriffs are not allowed to engage in any illegal activities nor go to any illegal places while they have a bandit account online at the same time."

How to determine if a bandit is in an illegal place/activity
There are simple ways but let me go through this list so people know what to look for.

Locations:

• Rebel Base/Drug Field: There is no way to tell if someone is located in these areas besides going there yourself.
• Cartel: As with the rebel base and drug field, there is no way to tell if they are here. However if their team takes over the cartel and the sheriff's bandit account is the only one in that team online, there you go.

Activites:

• Processing drugs: If you spam their profile (example /profile Chilled_67), their bounty will go slightly up if they are processing drugs. However, different drugs process at different times, so if their bounty seems to be going up then suddenly goes down 1, that doesn't mean they aren't processing, it simply means they are processing a drug that takes longer like wildgrass or coco.
• Robbing Conductors: There is no real way for a bandit to see if someone is robbing a conductor, but I would not worry about this because most experienced players do not rob conductors.
• Smoking Drugs: If you are close to them while they smoke drugs, there will be a message in chat like "*Chilled_67 inhales wild grass*"(or whatever drug it is). If you are not near them but still think they are smoking drugs, you can /profile them, and if the "drug" attribute is green that means they have just smoken drugs/have the affects from it.
• Selling Drugs: Again there is no way to be certain about this, but if you look at their profile and they have a large sum of money (50k+) they have probably just sold drugs. (Some people will take out 40k (or a multiple of 40) to rent a house, so be wary of this.
• Rogue: This is easy, in chat they will on top of tab with the word "ROGUE" next to their name. Also, it will be in all red so it will be easy to spot. In addition, you can also track them using your compass/navigator.

Summary:
1. Change a sheriff rule from this "Sheriffs may not process at a rebel base on an alt with their sheriff account online." to "Sheriffs are not allowed to engage in any illegal activities nor go to any illegal places while they have a bandit account online at the same time."

2. Watch for sheriffs alts doing illegal activites as stated in the thread (if this is changed).

3. If this rule is implemented, and you see them violating this rule, do not call them out in chat or pm them. Record clear evidence and report it to a staff member.

I don't think its fair limiting them to one account, especially since there are plenty of things that can be done on a bandit that are legal (and are just normal activites).

 

Simply so that you would see it.

 

They are the same thing, just different phrasing.
