Idea Guns in MinecraftBuild

Guns would only somewhat sort of ruin the concept of Minecraft Build. You only build in Minecraft Build or just generally have fun but if you implement guns however, people are going to use M.B. as a platform for making their own gamemodes, which will only discourage people to build for the server as well as probably build in general.

 

I dont like the idea, Build should be about building, adding PvP was fine imo but guns would be too much.

 

Lets start with making bows usable....

 

I do agree that putting guns into Build would be a little much, but how about instead there would be a War server where you could put your maps on it and test the maps. For example, I put my map "Mexico" into the new war server. People could play on that map and test it out. People could rate the map (like in War 2.0, I believe), too. I think this would be better than adding guns to Build.

So you're essentially just saying like a prototype lobby sorta thing?

 

Pretty much. Its like a testing lobby for friends and players to test out maps submitted on the forums.

 

I wish I could get this implemented for CTF map testing tbh. Would be really useful.

 

What items would you suggest the guns be?
