How about actually DOING something about the lag?

Bro... Do you think it is easy to code in all the new stuff without the lag? Even the admins have to sleep too.

EDIT: If its unplayable then why don't you stop playing then instead of posting it on the forums?

 

Wow... Read other threads my friend. Then you may be informed.
Here are reasons why its laggy and why solutions cannot be done...

1. Multiplayer 1.7.2 has so many bugs its not funny.
2. Bukkit hasn't updated meaning we can't modify the server at all.
3. We can't fix something that is on all 1.7.2 servers due to bukkit taking there sweet time...
4. Plugins to possibly help can't be made due to bukkit. ^

 

Surely bukkit will become 1.7.2... (1 month later) Still waiting.... and that pretty sums it all up.

 

Everyone hates lag, but they cant do anything about it until bukkit comes out for 1.7.2, or well they could make the server 1.6.4 again which i think is a good idea.

/agree. Definitely seems like a better idea to have just of stayed in 1.6.4 at this point. As I've stated before, 1.7.2 changes almost nothing on here aside from advertising purposes. Yet it seems we continually ***** about how bad 1.7.2 is instead of reverting back to 1.6.4 until then new update gets its **** together and is fixed.

 

I know they arent, but since they switched it back once cause of lag then i dont see why they cant do it again.

Thing is, there are more servers now, which causes lag with the current host that we have. (at least, that's what I heard :V)
Spigot caused some lag, but it's the only way to upgrade to 1.7.
