And I'm sorry it was locked, but there won't be transparency. As long as there are enough people willing to overlook the fact that the communication is lacking, nothing will change. Your thread is a good start towards fixing this issue, but it will take a lot more than that to convince most of the staff that it's ok to trust the community a little more with information.

what are you saying

every situation, no matter the punishment, requires communication. he obviously didn't know why his levels were reverted, hence the thread. he knew he glitched them (once, accidentally), but that was months ago. he didn't think that he would be punished for something he did months ago, especially since putty told him he was ok. that's why he made the thread. if staff communicated, he wouldn't have made the thread. that's all that matters.

First change for war with me not being manager is a hated one, strange that.... I know I would of never had that happen. Just give him his levels back.

 

I’m not going to take part in this. The only thing I’m going to say is that taking @Vincz’s levels is absurd as long as these are only virtual levels and glitching didn’t reward him (only in leaderboards but they are made with kills).

Well that's the first time I've ever seen that. It was given when I was offline and that same night I got set back to level 120.

And since when is it a warning if I immeadiately get a 103 level dropdown?

Also, there should have been communication béfore I got the punishment, it's like making a decision in court without the suspect having a chance to tell what happened.

 

I never got asked what happened, or how it happened.

The only thing I ever got asked, was to give chickenputty a reason not to wipe ALL of my stats, since they were not legit. My answer was that it would be disturbing if all of my levels and hard work would be wiped, and then he just said he'd be watching me.

 

I didn't take part in this decision, too busy with America. But you guys gotta chill a little bit more. Yes, communication is important, yes we should informate. But my impression is that you guys use the lack of one PM to criticise the decision in general. And that is ridiculous. Don't exaggerate, some fake levels have been taken, he wasn't informated because we falsely thought he'd somehow remember he glitched 70 levels and that's it.

Yo mate, get back on the ground Most of the staff members agreed on that, we won't let someone away, with 70 fake levels. I'm sorry it took so long though.

 

okay, for the last time:

the levels are glitched. it doesnt matter if it was intentional or accidental, the levels were still glitched. they were reverted to a fair guess that could have been changed to be more accurate in a PRIVAYE discussion.

at this point, vincz just wants attention and to play the victim card for glitching, LYING ABOUT HIS GLITCHING, then wondering why the levels got reverted.

also, if everyone is saying "oh levels are only a number let him have his levels back," that same argument can be used against him.

No my level wasn't just reverted, they gave me a -30 level punishment and you miss the entire point of the discussion: the fact that the server never communicates with the players.

The serverteam appearently had a debate that took like 1h 30m and all they had to go on, was an 1 year old PM with chickenputty in which I was asked to give some quick arguments on why I shouldn't get a full statwipe, and a vague idea how people in generally glitch levels on Mc-War.
So it's negligent and unfair to not have asked me for any information or clarification.

"Last time we tried to?" All chickenputty did once, was threatening to reset all of my stats, he never asked about the glitch. I just had to convince him in one hour not to reset all of my stats.

So because a year ago I said once to chickenputty "I got it legit" - which was false indeed because legit means 'by the server rules' and glitching is not by the serverrules - you call me 5 times dishonest, 2 times petty, 3 times a liar and say I'm abusing a privilege? Well that's very objective.
