They should be allowed to continue living where they are, under the authority of the PLO. Unlike the current situation the Jews should also have voting rights.

Jews are a majority in Israel, no? So if they get voting rights, they'll just vote in a Jewish government?

The population is (roughly) an even split between Jews and Palestinians.

ik Google says there's only 3.95 million Palestinians but that estimate is from 2009

There are other animals 'like' us; any species starting with 'homo' is a part of our biological family classification.

And what do we define as 'like us'?
Are we talking biologically, as warm blooded mammals? That's a few thousand species. Shaped vaguely like us? Anything mammalian in nature and bipedal fits that, monkeys and apes especially are similar.
Intelligent like us? Many classifications of apes are able to manipulate their environment and utilize tools to assist them in surviving and thriving.

Emotional like us? Gorillas especially are known to understand sadness, anger, and happiness on an eerie level of similarity to humanity.

So yet to catch up is most likely, considering apes can learn to communicate with us through sign language and consequentially express sadness and despair at the death of a child (Coco, I believe the name of that specific gorilla was).

And when I say catch up, we're talking many hundreds of thousands of years here. There really isn't much need for their evolution right now, considering how pampered (and endangered) our closest rivals are.

G'nite sweat prints; this thread will forever go down as the most amazing thread in Minecraft history simply because it continues to exist. Good sh*t lads.

Good work and discipline is better than sitting back and thinking that you're already saved by doing nothing useful.

I don't like that Christian mindset. Don't say " Well then you're not saved" because that's a horribly irrational claim, which, you have to back up with evidence and sources that we were saved by an omnipotent being which may or may not even exist.
I used to attend a Catholic school and I believed in the existence of God for a long time, but also I found "good works" and discipline to be more rewarding.

Just because it stands out by being more supernatural does not mean it is the TRUTH

Truthfully, there is no such thing as an innocent person.
If you understand the Bible, which as a Christian, you should, that entire area of land belongs to the Jews, and it's not just that little sliver of land. The Promised Land is suppose to reach all the way into Syria and Lebanon.

“He couches, he lies down as a lion, and as a lion, who dares rouse him? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, and cursed is everyone who curses you.” - Numbers 24:9
    It's talking about Israel, fyi.

I do not presume to lecture you on Christianity, gehenna. I'd appreciate it if you'd refrain from doing the same

Only a small problem with that. There are countries there (with several million Arabs in them). Are we to evict them, with violence as native people do not tend to like it when you do such things, based on a promise made over three thousand years ago? A promise made, mind you, entirely because the Israelites had made their peace with God after living in slavery under the Egyptians for centuries

Anyone else notice that the entirety of the stories in the Bible take place in like ~50,000 square kilometers?

To quote the rest of the caption that was cut off in this image:
"It's almost like the Holy books were written by iron-age middle easterners with no Divine assistance"

That really shouldn't happen, for now.

But, they were written with divine assistance, except for the Quran.
A lot of people would point to Islam as the reason why the region is violent and unstable. Something tells me the region would still be violent and unstable regardless if Islam didn't exist. I can't explain it. It's just a feeling.
In Islam's place, there would probably be hundreds of folk religions and cults, and Christians would have a hard time doing mission work in the area, because many of the religions would be violent.

As I already said, good works aren't going to save you, because you can't be good enough. They may please God, but they're not going to grant you entry into Heaven. Any good you're capable of is drowned by your sin.
God gave Himself as a gift for eternal life, and we have to acknowledge it.
Any minister who tells you in addition to faith, good works are also required to get into Heaven is a false teacher and is making things difficult, as humans typically do.

You sound like me on evolution right there.

Do you purposely ignore the main point of posts? Why does the bible take place in such a small area?

I used to believe and lived strongly by my faith but it all kind of faded away. How does that even happen? It wasn't what I wanted, and if you can't lose your Christianity why would I lose the presence of God? The past while in my life hasn't been the greatest at all and how can God just abandon believers like that, no matter how hard we pray and try to overcome those struggles. I dont know how to get back the presence of God into my life, and its made me think if I was brainwashed into a set way of living, and if the presence of God was just a feeling I subconsciously created to help me.

Why does Harry Potter take place in the UK? Why does the Hunger Games take place in North America? Why does Batman take place in a fictional likeness of New York City?
You have to understand that life is full of trials, and you must overcome those trials. These trials are suppose to make stronger, but unfortunately, it seems they've made you weaker.
Also, God isn't a genie. He's not going to answer every prayer. He's the Heavenly Father, and as the ideal parent, He's not going to spoil you. He will say no to things you don't need. God hasn't abandoned you. You've abandoned God.

Job, the Man Who Lost Everything: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Job+1:13-22&version=NASB

Personally, I have never blamed God for everything bad that happens in my life and all around the world. I blame humanity, and it really is mankind's fault for all the bad things in the world, as sin comes from us, and sin is destructive.

Yeah but I've been looking for god and I am left alone. It doesnt make sense at all. I'm praying for my faith to be strengthened again and for the presence to return. Those are things that I need and I'm trying to get back to god. Why am I left alone at this point will struggling. How can this be a trial when I've been trying so hard to be strong with my faith but get no response. It doesnt make sense at all. Why would the presence of God just leave my life when I was living faithfully? Now I just feel nothing anymore. Going to church feels like a waste of time, and tbh I feel like giving up on it and giving it all second thoughts about if what I believed in was really true or not. It just doesn't make sense

Ok dude honestly you need to piss off. This matter has nothing to do with you, so if you're going to stalk all my forum activity and make remarks to them all then that proves greatly my, admitfully wrong, actions of not refunding you came to be. I'm not justifying it, and I did sincerely apologize, but I dont believe I'm fully in the wrong with our conflict. Please mind your own business in this situation.

This has been an incredibly entertaining thread for all the wrong reasons - would be a shame if it were locked for flame, @0racle and @TheMel0n.

It's not flame lmao. I have no clue why he's stalking me on the forums like this when we are discussing matters in a pm. Just chill man and stop being so anal with your comments on here please. Its a sensitive subject for some and I think you should be more careful of how you word things, especially as a staff memeber.

A tad off topic, yes, but it needed to be said

Your comment to TheMel0n was completely unnecessary and was quite obviously flame. Had you just reported it and not responded, I would've only warned TheMel0n.
