    Ok, I think I came up with something interesting. As someone who's quite active on MinecraftBuild, and build a lot in general, I know this would benefit Brawl a lot.

    Here's the idea, clean and simple:
    You need to vote to use WorldEdit on MinecraftBuild

    How it would work, + precisions:
    One hour of utilisation per vote.
    If you use the wooden axe, or any W.E commands (except //undo and //redo which you can use without voting), this message will appear in your chat:
    "Vote for Brawl.com with /vote to have access to WorldEdit for 1 hour!", with fancy colors. Can also appear in the global chat now and again.

    Pros:
    - More people voting
    - More advertising
    - Less lag due to less people using W.E
    - Can still undo when your hour is over

    Cons:
    - a bit less freedom I guess
    - 5 vote sites, 5 hours of WorldEdit per day!

    Thoughts, everyone?

    I don't think it's a good idea to take away perms that normal players already have (especially on a server that is based on using WE). Instead, what I'd actually think would be cool to see is being able to get extra maps from voting. A new map could be something like 100 vote tokens or something of the like.

    No, maybe they could add something like this but with voxel but this would just make it like other crappy creative servers.

    NO, Build is unique because of everyone's access of World Edit if you take that away, Build will lose most of its player base. I like feather's idea of getting maps, 1 map for every 10,000 tokens, idk.

    As said by multiple people above, good idea, bad execution. I like the idea of voting for advantages on build, however if we were to put it like you said, 5 votes for 5 hours of WE, (as a normal player) I probably wouldn't play... I could possible see voting for certain more complex commands maybe, or as @_featherpaw_ said, something like extra maps.

    Damn, it's the first time I have to defend one of my ideas x)

    The purpose of the server isn't to use WorldEdit, W.E is just here because it's a popular plugin, and makes things go significantly faster. Nowhere I said that it would be good if W.E was a donor perk, I know a lot of people aren't allowed to buy online stuff! However, everyone can vote, it takes less than a minute. Also, looking at the population of MCBuild, I strongly believe it could increase a lot the votes amounts for Brawl.

    I suppose the token for maps idea could work, but 100 tokens is way too small; it could be reached in two days for a lambda player, one day for an Elite.

    However...10,000 tokens for a single map... It would take 200 days of everyday voting for a normal player. That'd totally discourage them to play.
    Oh, I've never said anywhere to remove WorldEdit. It would be a disaster to do that.

    This is kinda the biggest deal, but well, if you've buit 5 hours straight this day, and your W.E rans off, just take it as a call to go outside and breath a little.

    Right, the problem would be if I wanted to use WE at different times of the day. if I activated it at 9 A.M. and came back to use it later at 9 P.M., it wouldn't work.

    W.e is here because it's something that makes build unique. Not many servers give everyone access to w.e.

    How would 200 days for a chance of earning a map discourage people from playing? There's nothing like that at the moment so this would be an additional benefit to what build offers now. I don't know how this would discourage people from playing, it'd encourage people to play because they can earn a map. I do think it should be a bit less, maybe 5,000.

    Voting isn't actually that of a good advertising system. On voting sites, there are so many servers. You have to make it different if people are going to choose it and adding this will just make it like pretty much every other creative server.

    Sure build could have something that you can gain only from voting. However that should be an additional thing such as voxel, if it was world edit you'd be taking away a selling point.

    Also why the first comment? Seems very arrogant and irrelevant.

    I don't think that a third party website should define features on our gamemode. Say voting breaks or a site goes down, do players not have access to worldedit anymore?

    OK, maybe lowering it to 5000 tokens for a map, but anyways 100 days to get a map or pay $3, because when feather said 100 tokens that would be a map every 2 days and then Brawl would get no income from map purchases.
    I also agree with @Zyoa to where it would be taking away a selling point, cause it would then be easier for me to just start up my own server again and I also wouldn't have to deal with the chat floods.
    I personally like the idea of maps, because it doesn't take something we already have.
