Some Ideas to improve WW

    Im currently sitting here. Writing this thread on my phone while processing tabacco. Why? Because its pretty boring to just camp in a corner and wait till its processed. I would rather go around the rebel base and do things like trading or PvE some Rebels and go back to the processing NPC, take my drugs and go away.
    After this pretty useless story, here some more details.
    The Trader. The Trader takes all items and sells a few items. Based on their Position they have different price multiplicators. The trader in the wild grass base, whitch is in a snow biome would give you more for leather armor than somewhere else but the cost for that would be higher there. In a rebel base near water you could buy really cheap fish and sell them for higher prices somewhere, where isnt so much water.
    Another thing would be increasing Rouge time to 30 min. That would make Rougehunting a good job and would increase teaming, which im really missing currently.
    This is for me the most important right now.

    I like the idea of different traders having difference prices. Also having more traders scattered around the lands would be a pretty fun idea. The fish example is good. +1

    I see where you're coming from with the rogue idea, but I don't think it can be implemented without a whole rework of the server so I'll have to -1 that.

    I like the Trader idea, it would be a good solution for sheriffs who have diamond armor to get rid of, and bandits who have too many items to storage.

    30 minutes rogue would be too long in my opinion, maybe 10 minutes would be good.

    Hell no go the rogue idea. Rogue hunting is a sheriff dominated profession. Always has been, always will be. This would just make players rage quit because they have a sheriff going **** all trying to cuff them for THIRTY MINUTES.

    ok, most people dont like 30 min rouge. I started to not like it too.
    The Trader woulnt even be so hard to do. You just place them somewhere in a rebel base and set the prices.
    We need something else where you can get much money.
    The trader would even make Indians useful, normally you dont really need their loot.
    And what do you think, is processing too boring?

    100% Agree, unless you outnumber them 3 to one, you can't fight before the sheriffs quit

    But then your rogue refreshes and you get constantly hunted for the next 30 minutes until you get refreshed on rogue again, and so on...and on...

    -1 On the 30 min rogue, which actually puts another idea in my head but I want to think about it before posting it to make sure I get the details right.

    ye, i dont like 30 min rouge too (since i had enough skill to kill somebody and raged because the compass lead a player to me)
    but something like highest bouty compass?

    Traders seem interesting, but I'm not too sure if we should let players buy something, then sell them for more. This way of making money would be incredibly easy, but also quite boring after a while (essentially, it's just travelling on a horse).

    I'm not a fan of increasing rogue time, as I think rogue is a fundamentally flawed gameplay mechanic and encourages people to avoid fights so they don't go rogue and have 4 sheriffs on their ass. People already log off as soon as they go rogue to escape sheriffs - this would simply worsen this issue.

    i agree you... partailly?...
    i have made another thread called
    improved improvements for WW or so and ye.
    But i ask you this question now.
    Isnt drug running also boring after repeating it over and over again?
    Sure, trading means riding a lot, but first,
    you have to find out the best trading route, where you havnt much to travel and can buy cheap and sell expensive a sertain item.
    If you balance it good you really have much to improve while trading.
    Should it be the best route, but can be risky?
    Or better a safer route where you make less money?
    I know what players want.
    The typical WW player thinks always about tactics or good places to stand while processing or whatever.
    Dont say that if you in your bed and cant sleep that you dont think about WW.
    The system has to be easy to understand and need much deph.
    Let the players think about what is mathematticly the best trading route to go and you have a good system.

    (And thats whats an unaverage half-level and gameplay? designer does.
    Sleepless in bed thinking about how to improve WW)
