Quick Idea

I don't really see a point of this. Where would the trader be located? You already have money, and ammo is 1000 per stack (not exact, but somewhere close to 1000) 1 golds not really gonna do anything for a player with a few 100k. -1 for me.

 

You would be surprised.

Anyways, I gotta agree with SoCool, 1g is too little for this to have any use. Also I am confused with your idea, can you simply sell things to the npc, or are you trading? You mention both so I would just like to clarify

 

You could double it, or make it more than 2g as long as the items you could sell were not included in the starter kit when you respawn (stone sword and pickaxe, medicine, splint, bandage, antiseptic, bread, navigator/compass)

 

I honestly and I'm sure other people can agree with me on this one a npc who fixes diamond armor (Example: My diamond chestplste is on half dura, I go to this npc and I give him the diamond chestplste and 1000 gold and he gives it back brand new) and a person you can sell diamond armor to (Example: You just won a battle and you already have enough diamond armor, the whole armor set is on half dura, so I go the the npc and sell it all for 5000).

 

I personally don't see this working because of concerns stated above. The idea is decent, but in practice I don't think it would work I'm afraid. -1.

 

In my opinion, your idea only works in a perfect world where no one would abuse it, unfortunately that is not the case, and people will definitely exploit and abuse it

-1, this gives you a small amount of gold and wouldn't be useful to new players. Also, even if you make the trader give more gold, it is still easy to abuse. This was a nice idea, but I'm afraid it will not work as planned.

 

-1, would rather see a trader which gives you half the original price of certain items. (For example low dura diamond armor could be sold to the trader)
