    Basically this thread is a thread with all liked ideas combined. If you want your idea to be added to this thread, either make a thread on it or reply to this thread, if your reply/thread gets a good amount positive rating I'll add it to this thread.
    Anyways, now to the ideas:
    The old school mcpvp XP bottles! I miss them, and many others do too.

    If you don't know what XP bottles is, then let me explain;
    It's a bottle crafted with:
    • 1 piece of glowstonedust
    • 1 empty bottle.
    Next to each other.

    So, what does it do? It's pretty simple, you right click it to bottle your xp and you'll get a full XP bottle, right click the full xp bottle and you'll get your bottled XP back.

    When your XP is bottled, the name of the full XP bottle will look something like this:
    Full XP bottle (1337 XP)
    The green text will of course be different varying on the amount of XP you have bottled. Thread here by @Carnotauros
    GUEST rank was a feature in all Survival PvP Maps before this and its a nice thing to have for teams was you can invite people without giving them quite a lot of access to the team - like warps and stuff. GUEST is good for when you want to invite someone temporary to give them a warp or similar - And means you don't need to go through all the current warps changing them to manager before you invite them.     To add to Raid's "hardcore" aspect, my suggestion is to display the Coordinates of player deaths. Fairly simple, and it would not be that unfair, as most players die at spawn, PvPing, or mining and falling in lava. However, for those rare occurrences it would be fun to "run" down players and find something valuable. It also makes it more risky when making vaults under lava in nether, or in the sky, because if you die, your coordinates are compromised. Finally, it would give an option to players who don't know how to track to potentially get raids. The message could display as "Player DnaMooshroom has died at X: -154 Z: 3467. The height would not be disclosed to offer some difficulty and at least finding where the player died, and giving them some time to gather themselves and attempt to defend themselves.     There was so much colors, great builds and structures in spawn. For those who are new, This map was created when we had the name Survival Pvp, the map lasted more than a year and great memories were created and i'm sure you new players will enjoy this spawn. Thread here by @PingWoo
    You'd craft a custom block (a very expensive crafting recipe, but I can't remember the details). You'd place it down and you'd right click it - there'd be a custom GUI. You can put diamonds into this GUI to power the cloaker.

    When no-one was in a 10-ish block radius of the cloaker, all the blocks around the cloaker were turned to stone (including air). This means if someone used XRay, they wouldn't see the base because it'd all be stone, and stone is of course invisible. When someone entered the 10-ish block radius, all the blocks would return to normal. Thread here by @bisom12
    Team Caps are set at 8 people per team.

    But what is the point of them?

    Teams just make a new team and ally with that team meaning literally nothing gets solved. It's simply just an annoyance. They just don't work.

    Now, there is one reason why team caps need to be there. The fact that you can just invite 50 alts into the team and get 50 koth keys.

    As this is an issue, I've thought of a couple of ways to combat this. Firstly we could come up with a system where people only get keys if they are within 50 blocks of the koth.

    One other big reason why team caps should be removed is the fact that if you have 10 friends, then you cannot be in a team with them all and this means that eventually 2 of the people will just not play raid. It's as simple as that. It's stopping people from playing raid.

    I don't know if it is just me but sometimes I want to speak to a group of players in private but not all of them are in my team. I think there should be a /party chat so people can easily communicate with other players privately in a group. Thread here by @NoHacksJustCooki
    When we had a parkour in the map it gave people something to do in spawn for the people who don't want to pvp. I was thinking that maybe we could add a permanent parkour in the map for some additional entertainment. I wouldn't mind building or helping with the design if this were to be added.     Raid Taxes, where do they go? As most members know when you an item on the shop and you later decide that you want that item, you just have to take it down, but with that comes a tax. We have thought of an idea for the taxes.
    I am not entirely sure how much tax there is within a week or month, but my idea is that; all of the taxes each player pays goes into a pot, the taxes could be won through koth keys, it could be a once a month thing or once a week (depending on how much tax there is). You could find how much is in the pot with either /pot or showing it on the scoreboard. Thread here by @hungerfreak12
    For staff afking can be a bad thing. @AnonymousGalaxy told me that they usually they just untag. But some people (including me) contact untagged staff too when they need help (atleast when there is no other staff online). So my idea is that staff can do /afk. When they do /afk it will display a message eg. Eil is now afk. When someone types Eil in chat there will be a message (just for the person who wrote it) saying Eil is currently afk, contact other staff if you need help. This could be an idea for normal people or VIP+ aswell only that it won't display in chat when they do /afk because then they could spam chat with those messages. Thread here by @Carnotauros
    If you didn't know I am in GMT+1, and when it is a koth event it is around 9pm, and if it's a 6 hour koth I need to stay up for a very long time. I got some problems with headache so I can't stay up that long (and I think that other brawl players might have the same problem). So my idea is to have every second koth in GMT time zone. So like 3pm GMT. Thread here by @Carnotauros
    So at mcpvp salvaging was a thing. It works easy. You place a iron/gold/diamond block next to a furnace and when you right click on it (with item of choice) you get the things you crafted it from back. Eg. you right click with a diamond chestplate and you get 8 diamonds. However if the item is used and has eg. 8 durability left. You get nothing. If it has almost full durability (eg. 219/225) you still get 8 diamonds. If it has like eg. 200/225 durability you get 7 diamonds and so on. It is not so useful in 1.8 as in 1.7 but I still think that it should be added. Because if you Yolo-enchant unbreaking III and you get like fire prot and unbreaking you can just salvage it and try again. Thread here by @Carnotauros
    Now of course these don't have to be added, and they don't have to be added after the reset, so developers, take your time and work on the other projects that you are working on. However, these ideas are wanted by the community so if you can and have time, add them!

    I would like pretty much everything on this list to happen. Not necessarily because I want it it's because I think it would make raid more popular. :smile: Great list by the way Carnotauros I think you've mentioned everything that us raid players really want! :smile:

    I'm pretty sure everybody wants a reset. The issue is that very often the community is left in the dark on potential resets and other decisions.

    I understand that giving an ETA for a reset would be tough to stick to, but a little more transparency with the community, I feel would be good.

    In my opinion they should not be added, becuase I don't think you should have to use your diamonds on defending yourself from x-ray.
    The removal of team cap:
    I would rather have an increased one :stuck_out_tongue:. Maybe to around 12.
    KOTHs in EU:
    Two KOTHs a week is a bit much imo. I would rather have another different event, for example an automated 2v2 (or 1v1 or 3v3) tournament.

    XP Bottles: -1, already easy enough to get 30 levels and p4 sets.
    Guest Rank: Yes, yes, and yes.
    Death Coordinates: -1, don't like the concept of it.
    Ocean Spawn: Yes, yes, and yes. (or new spawn but probs ocean spawn)
    Cloackers: +/- 0 I never played McPvP, maybe too much coding. I'm really not sure, I don't see much bad occuring from it besides some glitches/bugs that could arise from it.
    Removal of Team Caps: Worked out amongst Raid staff for the most part.
    Permanent parkour at spawn: Meh, there's already a parkour in the ocean spawn to a secret (not so much secret). However if we do go with the ocean spawn I think the raid staff team will make some changes to it to change it up just a tad.
    Raid taxes: I kinda like the idea, would have to rework the koth prizes I came up with but I wouldn't mind.
    /afk for staff: Really an overall thing, not necessary or needed. +/- 0.
    KOTHs in EU: Maybe? i dunno how well it would work out, would need discussing.
    Salvaging: No, not raid, not spvp, not us.

    XPbottles don't make it easier to get level 30, they make it easier to store your levels. So if you are grinding and you see an enemie getting a lot of kills at spawn you don't have to worry about your XP, you just bottle it and go out and fight.

    Same difference. The point is it makes it way too easy to just save all your levels with no risks. P4 is already easy enough to get with 1.8 enchanting. Now having the chance to save all of your xp would be a possibility making it way too easy to get p4 or to save up and get any other level 30 enchant. A line has to be drawn somewhere. Feels a lot like factions as well.

    Cloackers: Don't fancy the idea of having to pay to have it, maybe it would be possible to code in an anti-xray thing that's permanent on raid, idk
    Removal of Team Caps: Personally I like team caps, prevents teams of 90 from dominating (and teams of 2 wouldn't have a chance at anything)

    Raid taxes: yes
    /afk for staff: don't care
    KOTHs in EU: and AU pls
    Salvaging: hell ****ing yes, but maybe a price with it, like some levels

    In my opinion XP bottles would do more good than harm. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be added other than the "hardcore" aspect of the game, but that's a minor argument imo. It can speed up the time taken to get stuff, and make basically everyone's lives easier. Besides, you can sell it on the market too, and colonel_graff has a new income source.

    Like @hockeyxxxxxxxkid said, there can be a command for that, and then people without ranks could have e.g. 2 cloakers, VIP 2 MVP 3 etc.

    I don't see why guarding against xrayers should be a donor perk, in fact it should be something that is already consistently in place.

    Because otherwise it will cause a lot of lag. If everyone has 5 cloakers it would cause a lot of block updates and blockupdates=lag
