Wild West Event Idea - Horse race

    Hello I have an idea for an event, it's basicly a horse race just like in MCParty.

    My idea: When the event starts the Wild West map gets updated, Frisco will be turned into a horse track / parkour, and the first one to finish will receive a price.

    I like the idea of this. But I feel like newer players won't have a chance as they cannot afford the most expensive horses.

    They could get a free speedy for the event that is taken after the event, or they could get a speedy with no respawns.

    Sounds fun but instead of changing Frisco why not make it some kind of sign or portal that costs money to enter a wildwest themed track. Winner takes a money prize. It could even be a regular thing, like coin flip or bartender gambling.

    Maybe do it like speedy's are not allowed, only a runner?

    I disagree, speedy's should be part of it. If you cant afford one, well that's too bad.

    Well then only like 10 people can play this then, the others can't afford one, so people from another game mode can't play this. I would do the idea mr_swat said above so everyone has horses.

    Otherwise this pretty much stops any new players from playing the event.

    It's going to be hard to give everyone speed horses, because you'll also have to take them away at the end. Newer players can still participate, but they'll like not win.
    There has never been a new player who won an event in the first place.
