    I saw new map nether for the first time in a while yesterday, and was shocked to see that it was changed. This is just a proposition to change it back to the old design, as I believe it was better looking and made more sense.

    i just dont understand why it was changed in the first place... just looks and plays worse

    +1, If you fall in the lava for whatever reason and someone is there you're basically dead. It's also an op camping spot as people can spray the entrance.

    +1 water to lava transition is ugly and playing around the lava blows.

    and while they're at it: please alternate old map nether echests
