    Also if it's done right it'll attract players.
    That's not in our hands if it ever happens to be created, that's the Dev's and higher ups job to make it successful.

    literally spvp was doing good, even at the end of spvp. right after they changed to raid IT DIED!! how do u explain that?

    Many old players have left because of team cap, or simply because they play cs, league or other popular games and got bored of minecraft. You can’t get those players who quit because they got bored of minecraft back, however, those players who quit because of team cap, bad spawn etc. can be brought back if we ADVERTISE, remove team cap entirely and have some major changes or remove KOTH entirely.

    This is our chance to revive raid, if we reset and advertise people will start playing, look at McDefy as an example, it was like raid but 10 times worse, no good devs, plugins, staff members etc. and that made people quit, but for the first 3 days, they had constantly 60+ players online, and brawl would get even more if they use the word “mcpvp” and the Ip “raid.mcpvp.com” in their trailer.

    Most McPvP players hate Brawl lol, I don't think we'd get many Players back by using the Ip since they already upload it to the McPvP channel though U:

    Why remove koths lmao. They're optional..... And the team cap was added because the majority of players wanted it and complained about large op teams.

    If this reset fails, I think more needed to be changed with it. like a complete rework of the gamemode. Having said this, I'm not saying this due to a lack of effort from eil or Melvin, but because of the lack of developers and funds.

    Team cap is pointless, it's very easy to bypass as well.

    It's not pointless; it breaks apart massive gang bangs that people complained about - hence why it was added. Yes ofc it is bypassable, we were well aware of that when we first implemented it, but now a 15v5 can be brought down to a 8v5v7 making things a *little* more fair and I would say it added some competition back when it was added. Example: The Jum's team vs my team vs some other guy's team conflict during koths. We all were originally on the same team but decided to go against each other in a weird ass triangle way, so I'd say that achieved part of our goals for adding caps.

    And how long would "just a reset" last? Think of the long term; the OG 1.8 map lasted ****ing forever and people wanted change after a while - not just a new map, but change in gameplay. "Just a reset" would be an extended version of this, making it a waste of time and resources, possibly losing players for good. Resets are crucial in restoring players' interests and spicing up a favourite gamemode - it can't just be a reset for it to be successful.

    Dear 0racle. only team who complained about getting outnumbered was ur team (hype) and in the ingame vote. Most likely 50% of the players who voted team cap 10 is noobs who just runs around spawn naked. This server would be so much ''nicer'' to play without team cap. There's just no point keeping it.

    It was left like that before and people complained after a while. This adjustment, of increasing it to 10 people, is called *balancing*. You can't please everyone and I think this change just needs to be adjusted to even things out.

    Side note: I worked with several people opposing the cap to try to meet a compromise - hence why we changed it from 5 people to 8 before the reset. This server would be much **BETTER** to play on if people like you didn't complain so much and thought of better ideas than just removing it. Ie adding an ally feature to teams that still enabled pvp between them, but included an ally chat and or shared warps. (rough idea just made up now)

    I love team caps however they are currently pointless due to the fact you can just make another team and ally with them. This basically means team caps are more of an annoyance than an actual restriction. The only way it could become an actual restriction is by adding a rule where teams can't ally or can have 1 ally which is /team ally or something. I would be prefer this than the removable of team caps and it's definitely an improvement from the current teaming rules.

    I'm in favor of increasing the team cap to 25+, but making it so you can't turn off friendly fire. I think this would be a nice balance. Koth keys would need to be limited tho, obviously.

    I personally don't see the point in using the argument that people want team caps. People wanted team caps in December 2016. Things change. Team caps in December 2016 was a fantasy. In reality, they don't work well.

    If a new, up to date poll was made, 80%+ of the community would want to get rid of the pesky team caps because the only thing they are helping is another reason to not play the new map.

    It's preventing people from getting into teams because teams "Can't spare the space". People are quitting because of team caps.
