Eil was the most experienced raid staff member there was at the time, imo and I'm sure the higher ups as they promoted him. (Obviously)
From my perspective, I don't see anything wrong with what is above. Then again, I only have like a week experience of being a sheriff when ww first came out. Eil is a great smod and does a lot for his server.

 

Has absolutely nothing to do with him being the RAID manager.

That's a pretty easy mistake to make as a sheriff and a very hard line to distinguish for anyone...

 

Eil is dedicated to raid, works hard to constantly improve the game and community, and is overall a great staff member, that is why he was promoted to SMOD.

Your opinion is your own, but I don't think its fair for you to call out Eil's rank when you die to him on a game that is very largely based on killing. If it was a mistake, it was most likely an honest mistake, especially if you were teamed yesterday with the player that died before you. If we punished sheriffs for not completely knowing bandit truces, we wouldn't have sheriffs.

 

Easy mistake to make. You are usually teamed with them too...

 

And if they are kos, those they teamed with would also be kos. Lol.

You arent, really. That teaming thing would only apply to nearby players tho, which means everyone wouldn't be kos.

 

They shouldn't be killed obviously. They should be cuffed.

I am in no way trying to defend Eil here as what he did seems to be abuse.

 

For starters, the sheriff cannot know that the player just logged in unless they are checking tab every 10 seconds. If you log out in a rebel base, you accept the risk that when you log in, you may be confronted with gun fire, or become instantly KOS depending on your team/truces. How to prevent this from happening is simple - You don't log in a rebel base.

The sheriff handbook states that if a player goes KOS, anyone teamed with that player nearby is also KOS. Gifd and the rest of his team I know for a fact are teamed with at least some of the other 8 diamonds at WG at the time (witnessed numerous other fights where he has teamed with them & have never seen an occasion where he isn't). They made no attempt to shoot him, and he made no attempt to shoot them, so I shot him. Yes, of course mistakes can be made regarding teams, however this was not one of those occasions.

 

I have no idea, i thought itd die in the first few months or something....

 

You were shot at a rebel base with an active fight, quit crying about it.
