Complete Economy Wipe

    The server should reset all money, items, houses, non-store bought horses, and skill levels.

    Why? Well, first of all, it's healthy for any closed economy to have a reset every now and again. Wildwest has definitely reached a point where a reset would make the game more fair for new players, and more interesting for old players.

    Second of all I recently found out, from a mod, about a severe incident where over 50 million gold was exploited, then hidden among alt accounts by players who still play today. Considering the extent of the exploit (which is now fixed) it would be best to reset the entire economy, since it is impossible for staff to catch all of the exploited money by targeting individual accounts. I understand the exploit happened some time ago, but the damaging effects can still be felt by extremely rich players/teams.

    This reset should occur sometime in the coming months. It should only be announced 1-2 weeks prior to the reset date.

    Yes

    Its no secret that certain players have exploited bugs to obtain big amounts of money. It'd be nice to have all money wiped.

    For real someone overabused a glitch and made 2 billion.... he doesn't play anymore just still that's crazy

    From what I hear, there's 30 million or so in the various accounts of a certain player who still does play. What's crazy is he hasn't been permanently IP banned for his actions.

    The economy definitely needs to be wiped, and anyone who has intentionally benefitted from this should be banned for at least a year

    Well there have been numerous glitches but the only one I really remember is a body loot glitch I think where the items kept spawning inside them even after looting them.

    I reported a fun one back in the day, where breaking a house chest with items inside would duplicate the items. It was fixed immediately but who knows how long it had been exploited prior to my report.

    And just so we are all clear, this glitch and the more severe ones were in the SAME economy cycle we still play in.

    True, but you know who I am talking about, and so does staff.

    I'm pretty sure this needs to happen once every 6 months or so just to make the game interesting. We need to change a lot of economy stuff as we do the reset though.
