    New players start with almost nothing. Their most valuable possession is their horse.

    If their horse dies, they do not have any way to get out to a mine or Indian camp, much less to a drug farm -> processor -> dealer and back.

    I would quit if I was new and my horse died and I did not have enough money to buy a new one.

    Wild West was not designed for walking.

    SOLUTION: The New Player Horse now Respawns every hour. We could even make the new player horse a bit worse than a Pony, to make sure that it is not the only horse that new players use.

    EVERYONE NEEDS A HORSE to succeed in Wild West.

    This would require minimal time for developers, it would need to be added to player's horse slots, and it would need to be added to the Stable Master NPC as an option to repurchase it if someone set theirs free. The repurchase price could be high, similar but lower than the other premium horses, perhaps 200k.

    I feel like if I've just logged on and I have to wait another hour for my horse to respawn from death, I'd honestly just not come back. But I do agree that horse deaths are very common for newer players.

    I think ultimately a tutorial which is interactive and more detailed would help massively. Outlining the importance of your horse could be stated here.

    An hour is way too long - most new players will have quit the game if they haven't found it interesting by then. The new player horse should respawn instantly - i.e, as soon as it dies, it is ready to be called with /call immediately after.

    You can outrun that white thing, I'd say let it respawn immidiatly.

    I played once and decided to trust a guy. As soon as we left a safe area they killed me and my horse :frowning: I quit

    Mabye a five minute respawn time, but you cannot buy that horse in the shop, and give it pony features.

    When you kill horses, make players quit, then post a thread called "Main Reason Why Players Quit : Horse Dies"

    He does have a point :V You are well known on wildwest for consistently pushing every horse out of towns and going places to only kill horses.
    However, I agree with you again XD
    The only issue is, well, we have the same issue with some of your other ideas xD It will be a little while before we can add this. Our developers are currently working on something else. Something we have actually considered was to make them not only respawnable, but upgradable over time with possibly a travel level, or paid upgrades.

    I don't usually kill the Ponys if I see them afk, only the actual horses have good loot.

    That being said, whining about who is killing the horses doesn't fix the problem of horses being too easily taken from new players, when they are so important to succeeding.

    Yeah, that's completely true. Its like people complaining about sheriffs or sawed offs or cuffs. It does nothing until it can be fixed, and there have been almost zero posts suggesting how they should be fixed.

    Make the timer 5 minutes or instantly of gone to the horse stables, harder to abuse but also rewards exploration a little. Get them a little more comfortable with the compass and map

    It is a great idea, but if this gets added please let us have 7 horse slots. There are already many problema with only 6 horses. But i do agree with you, the starters don't know much and thats why their horse dies quickly. It would be very usefull for and players who know abaout "Wild West"
    And ofcourse "Wild West" would be nothing without horses, right?

    One reason because i agree is because i quit because of horses dying!

    Don't worry, just like any other horse you could set the slow beginner horse free, so you wouldn't need to replace a better horse slot with it once you are rich enough to have better horses.

    I imagine if you had 6 horses when/if this is implemented, it would increase your stable to 7 horses, but you would still be capped at 6 if you ever wanted to buy a new one, meaning you would have to set horses free until you had 5 in order to purchase a new horse. That's the way a lot of implementations work. Certainly the addition of this slow beginner horse should not delete a horse you already have to make room for it.

    I get that you don't like me, Pryo, but what I don't understand is the need for constantly being mean to me. I never denied that I kill horses, I just wanted noobs horses to respawn. Whats the point of posting that video to forums?

    I don't think I have a single positive experience with you Pryotheum. I don't know who you are, except a bully.

    I've never denied that I kill horses to get their loot! I just don't want the noobs to lose their horses.
