Idea Let players use /afk!

I don't see a point to this as, if the player is typing "/afk" they can just say "Brb" or "Going afk" or something along those lines. If the player isn't moving for 2-3 minutes either it should be pretty self-explanatory they aren't there at that moment.

 

If there's a long and lively chat going the TAB use of this idea would be useful too but you've got a point.

 

Well if the map you're in is private and/or someone is trying to ask a question from another map either through pm or global chat, they wouldn't know you're afk and assume you're ignoring them.

I like this idea because I go afk a lot and people keep asking me questions or asking me to help them and think they're being ignored ;v

 

And you can still accomplish the same thing by just saying you are afk in global chat. I personally don't think it's very useful to add but even if it is it doesn't change much.

 

Players who join after the message can't view the message because there's no chat history. Also your message is mostly going to be ignored in a busy chat like Build's most of the time.

Like it, but it can be used to spam, which can get a little annoying. Maybe implement a cooldown?
