Bandits can glitch and abuse horses to get to impossible or nearly impossible spots in town. This idea of letting sheriffs use lassos in town won't change gameplay; it will prevent bandits from glitching or abusing horses to prevent cuffs.
MASSIVE EDIT: Add to the handbook, "Sheriffs may not abuse lasso in town to throw people around," or something like that. Just realized it would be really annoying for sheriffs to abuse this in town when not catching rouges.

A sheriff can go anywhere a bandit can go. But I get your point.

What Oofio is saying, that when Rouges go into the towns, that often parkour on their horses, which some sheriffs can't get to, even with a horse. Or that's what atleast I am thinking.

I've seen bandits avoid cuffs by glitching to the top of a house.

    This can't hurt anything, though.

Or lasso their horse out of the town and kill it :v
Which we would have no way to prove as it does not say who kills your horse, only that the horse was killed.

If someone glitches into somewhere or on top of a building, let us know and we will deal with it accordingly. Most times when someone is on top of a building, they used a horse that can jump pretty high (Like I did when I was messing around with you and fadaad on top the tree smoking wg :V) to get out of reach of a sheriff.

In these cases, a lasso is not needed under any circumstance to reach them, as a horse will bring you to them.

If you are unable to parkour up to someone using a horse under an hour, that player deserves to be there, will have logged/ or team hqed, or will perhaps just have given up. Nobody is going to sit on top of a tree for over an hour unless they are exceedingly bored, under which case a sheriff will have plenty of time to reach them.

I see the point in how this would help, bandits arent supposed to be abled to avoid cuffs by glitching. Maybe by parkouring but not by glitching.

A worthless addition. Takes up dev time and doesn't impact gameplay at all. Find me a sheriff who consistently uses lassos and I'll send you $50 bucks via paypal.

My point is even if this does get implemented, sheriffs won't use lassos more often. Nothing will have changed.
