    i just finished reading all the HG change logs and Im amazed at all the effort the coders put into the game... they really looked into every individual kit and tried to make them better

    HG doesnt have zero players because of how the game works, the thing is there are no longer american HG players to play it... BR servers are doing fine

    btw look how kids are playing today:
    (just jump to the PVP parts)

    look at those recrafts / reffils trapping skills like wtf they look like robots

    its hard to bring people to play on a player with zero players... maybe there should be a "reopening event" with some youtubers streaming but idk... :frowning:

    This game will never be popular on brawl unless you make some major changes, which I think Miskey is doing!

    This game is popular on Brawl, it won't be if you and others just come on here to let your salt shaker spill everywhere.
    You don't play on here, period. You have little to no understanding as to how BrawlHG is handled on here, and that's ok, I don't expect everyone to have that knowledge (I don't know everything either). It still doesn't mean that you should come on here with little Brawl knowledge, so to speak, and throw shade at everything that was once MCPvP.

    pretty sure you're one of the only people on brawl that still thinks HG is alive
    even if people complain about HG being dead, nothing will change if they don't

    hg will still be dead whether or not people complain

    HG needs a fundamental change which keeps it as a LMS game, but changes the way it's played. That's the only way HG will ever stand a chance of being revived. HG's been around for 6 years now and still hasn't received a major update - we need changes to make it alive again.

    HG has been "alive" (ish) over the past few weeks. SMods have finally been giving the game attention and have been hosting events (@Miskey <3) and streaming them. During these events, playercounts have surpassed 20, sometimes 30 players. Obviously we're not the most popular gamemode on the network and not even close to what HG used to get, but imagine if we figure out a system which lets HG have events like this but not get old (which we already have!) and significantly improves the way HG is played to adapt it to the current Minecraft player-base.

    If we're able to pull off this, which essentially requires a lot of brainstorming and a bit of dev time, I'm confident we can make HG a little less dead.

    I'm not deluded - yes, HG is not doing as well as it was in, say, 2013-2014, but there is no reason for you to come along (even though you're from Munchy - just stay on their forums) and start stomping on it and throwing shade at me and HG in general when you have no clue how the playercounts actually do when for instance @Miskey is streaming. Just make your own opinion with decent facts and useful views rather than joining the "HG is dead, f*** you Ghale" bandwagon.

    Personally, MCPvP was an amazing place/thing, and I would love to see it back, but it had its faults and issues.
    Asking me to kick the bucket (which, by the way, you certainly mean literally - and no, I will not) is not going to stop me being positive.
