    Everyone liked the old spvp and i loved it too. I think staffs should go back and make the old spvp the same as today. I think this will bring back the server and will be back to normal. Also, please change it to 1.7 and 1.8 please.

    There's not just 1 reason as to why the server isn't popular anymore and it's definitely not this one anyway.

    Different things trend.
    Spvp used to be trendig back in the day, same with soup pvp. Now it's not trending anymore, but the server hasnt died.
    Changing a few things here and there won't revive soup pvp, and I think it's more about luck.
    But hey, new year new opportunities. Maybe 2018 will be the year that soup blows up again, who knows?

    Regardless, even if the made it the way it was before, its still gonna be that same, the old players back then quit and they're not coming back. All because a a huge reset. Face it, we're either getting new players, or none.

    Changing to 1.7 is not possible and has been explained by higher-ups multiple times, and Raid nowadays is way better than SPvP was then. Changing back would loose more players than gain new ones.

    most of the pvp community is 1.7 players so i dont see how it would lose any players at all, and he did say to make it 1.7 and 1.8, therefore not losing any 1.8 players, but also gaining 1.7 players

    SPvP and Raid are hardly different. There are certainly some changes but none of them are big enough to impact the player counts much.

    Also, we're unable to have 1.7 due to how our backend works. We'd have to completely change our backend systems to do this, which would require all our gamemodes to be recoded too. We definitely don't have the dev time to do that.

    tbh raid is more lit than what spvp turned into so lets not go back there.

    Edit: it’s also not possible to go back to 1.7 now that we’ve jumped to 1.8 however much everyone would’ve loved to

    There are few changes between spvp and raid. The few changes are positive, such as smaller and shorter maps. Even the spawn is basically the same. A lot of people want spvp back, but I don't see how this would be positive.

    I think hardcore soup servers died cause it's not trending anymore. ''all good ends in time''
    Changing to Survival PvP won't help with this problem. Raid ain't really dead. It's just not that popular anymore. I still enjoy raid.

    First time I played raid, stepped out of spawn and died to someone using killaura and said, "Yeah **** that" and never went back. True story, was there.

    This whole thread and replies are wrong. Totally wrong.
    But anyway, It's not changing back into the great server it once was.
    (and this thread was useless, many threads in the past similar to this one has been posted and they were all looked over)
    I suggest to sit back, try to have fun, and watch brawl shutdown :frowning:

    hopefully the server is bought by someone else (like mcpvp) and maybe actually has an idea of how to run a server.
