    Hey Community (That's what I'll call ya) I thought of a new idea that might help us in a way. After applying for staff and all, I was thinking that maybe for 8 hours or less, a staff would monitor a player who has applied for
    staff, so when they come to talk about it on Team-Speak or Discord they would be able to see if the player would be honest or not.

    Staff already stalk applicants with any chance of being accepted on forums, ts, and in game, for the reasons you specified. There'd be no point in monitoring people who don't since 95% of applicants don't meet the requirements

    I see your point but that's already happening in what was described by RyGuy with qualified staff applicants.

    Things get recorded, playtime, history etc. so I don't see a reason for monitoring :smile:

    Don't forget they can check if you have alt accounts and view if you any punishments on them. If someone avoids punishments on their main account, it can still affect your application. I am pretty sure this has been in play and stopped at least one player from getting staff.

    We already do this, it's just not an "official" thing that we're required to do with all staff applicants.

    Also, 8 hours per staff applicant is a bit much, even if we're only doing the ones who have a shred of potential. I can usually tell if someone is suitable or not for the staff rank after about 10 minutes of searching through their forum posts and speaking with other staff - 8 hours is excessive.
