    So I've realize that minecraft gets old, and people grow older and play other games. And I've notice that over the years brawl has had it's peaks and down peaks. But lately I see that brawl Has been at a steady pace weekdays around 200-250 players regular, and weekends around 300 at the peak. As you see brawl has many game modes that new players can play, Minecraft party when it came out was a First and people/youtubers were on it like crazy! Other gamemodes were popular at first but now have fallen, I feel like if Brawl removes some of the gamemodes that don't really attrack players to stay then I believe they will actually be saving money, Like look at battleRoyal that gamemode isn't really doing hot even at release it didn't do hot, WarZ has gone down however they still make good money from it, from the VIPS-Elite donations... Enough with the run-on I believe if mcbrawl cut the gamemodes that have the least amount of players/play time it would help a'lot same with the server player slot like I believe it's 2000, but we know 2000 people rnt gonna be on maybe reduce it to 1000. Another way is maybe pay some youtubers to help out and advertise the server that would help tons with bringing the player base back and people would see the gamemodes that are fun and they can enjoy.

    Advertising/Less player slots/And maybe cut a gamemode to save money.

    I wan't to brawl get alive again with many new people, I wan't to see the servers filled with players, I love mcbrawl and was one of my first ever communitys I actually invested time into. Thank you for reading this and I hope this will be taken into consideration.

    As far as I know:
    1. Player slots don’t really play a role, you can even set it to 99999999999 and it’s free.
    2. Each gamemode has its own fanclub so cutting one would disappoint them and they will eventually vanish. I don’t know any empty server other than Battle Royale but the gamemode is quite new and it actually has a nice gameplay and potentials though it seriously needs more advertisement through Youtubers.
    3. I referred to advertisement above and you did as well on your thread. The problem is that serious advertisement (Youtubers) usually include payment. AN ALTERNATIVE would be advertisement through forum sites such as the well known PlanetMinecraft one. We also should do more of an effort to support Brawl by liking the server on NameMC.

    Well, actually some famous MC YouTubers played Brawl.

    But, advertising would show to people on how Brawl has unique players, and modes. This would be a great thing to do, but I can't really think of any "popular" minecraft YouTubers since most of them quit Minecraft. Advertising would show people how this server works, and what modes it has. Maybe Brawl should have a YouTuber rank (100+ subscribers or more)

    I also think cutting a mode is a good idea since a lot of modes that are considered "dead" should be cut since no one is playing it, and they can save money. Good ideas.

    I think the most important thing Brawl can do right now is just move on.

    We're still relying on concepts that have been around for years for the server to thrive (i.e War, WarZ and CTF). Everything eventually comes to an end and we need to start experimenting with new things and start trying to find the new big thing which is both popular with existing regulars and new players.

    I'm not saying we should shut down War, WarZ and CTF immediately or anything. I'm saying we should work heavily with the community to experiment with new gamemodes and new ideas until we find something that people like. Even for the most addicted players, our current gamemodes will eventually get stale and they won't stick around forever. A perfect example: HG.

    Brawl's in the "decline" stage right now, as most of us could agree on. War 2.0 has helped stabilise War's playerbase but the other gamemodes are still slowly shrinking, and updates can only do so much and can only make players more interested.

    The best extension strategy right now would be to come up with something new, with the community. Instead of working for 18 months on a new gamemode that may or may not be popular, work for 1 month to make a "bare-bones" gamemode (essentially just the concept, with minimal features) and let the community test it. If they dislike it, scrap it. If they like it, keep on developing it until we have ourselves a full fledged gamemode.

    This is why Hypixel is so large right now. They used to rely on their older gamemodes to do well (which is what we're currently doing). Then they made Mega Walls and playercounts rose. Then they made SkyWars. Then they made BedWars. Then they made Murder Mystery. Now they're making Zombies.

    Hypixel is also doing a similar thing to what I proposed - developing new gamemodes very closely with the community. This is something we need to do and we need to find the next big thing, otherwise Brawl will slowly start to decline. There's still a good chance Brawl can be revived and can do well, but we need to find something new. Once we do that, then we can start advertising.

    Well, Brawl has done this before: ex. Skywars. It was actually pretty popular and had like 50 players on, but SkyWars then got removed for other modes, and addition to things.

    Adding new stuff like Hypixel would be an amazing addition to Brawl. Brawl would have a huge capacity of players every day if this happens. #LetsHelpBrawl.

    Mcbrawl could have a Fraction server, or like maybe something like a moba gamemode kinda like paladins like capture each point etc to move forward.

    Yeah, BajanCanadian, ASFJerome, SSundee and some oldies like AnderZel and VintageBeef or someone from that player category played MC-War back in 2012-early 2013.

    I've been a huge fan of the second idea you mentioned for about 2 years now. I should probably continue dreaming up ideas for it.

    Yeah I think moba types like that would be new and interesting or maybe even have a RP Server lmao just some ideas but I've notice many people like doing RP, Maybe a hide and seek type of gamemode. I was thinking maybe a CIVIL WAR Type of gamemode with old style guns and could have castles seige etc.

    Brawl needs to come up with original gamemodes that are fast paced, rewarding, and team/community building. Brawl's biggest issue, as SoCool has already said, is sticking with unoriginal games for years on end. Personally I feel like Battle Royal was a move in the right direction but in hindsight the larger servers were already going to make a similar gametype. So Brawl got the short end of the straw and fell flat a few weeks after the release. What Brawl needs to start out with is making an original gametype that's straight forward but doesn't play too linear. The gametype needs to have goals besides winning the round and the community needs to help promote it. Once Brawl gets enough funds for coders to make a pre-alpha gamemode Putty could put out a discussion for the community to work together and come up with a game idea that the majority of our player base will back up.

    Can you really blame Brawl though? Some people are just busy and get older as you stated, which doesn't allow them to play any video games for that matter. And Minecraft has increasingly got repetitive for some people since Microsoft got a hold of Mojang, pushing out updates that completely changed Vanilla Minecraft. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
