Are we ending stars on MinecraftParty?

I don't see why we would end stars. If we do switch to coins, stars will be converted.
Odds are the board is bugged and is being fixed.

 

Yes, there are no more stars, but instead you have coins! I had 250+ stars before they changed the currency, and I don't remember getting 3k coins...
Therefore I have come to believe that stars will get converted to coins, in a proportional way.

 

We have stopped using stars as a currency system and replaced it with the coin system. Don't worry though, yours stars have been replaced with coins (1 star = 10 coins).
A new shop system has also been added. You can purchase different horse armors for horse races, fireballs for spleef, and colored fireworks.

 

I don't like the change, because in 1 mini-game you earn about 40 coins and 1 star = 10 coins is kinda a rip-off

 

Why not have both? Stars would tell how many games the person has won, and the coins could be used for buying stuff.

 

That wouldn't be necessary due to the fact that you can just count the coins and use a calc to convert them.

 

It's kinda hard to do that when you can spend the coins. And you get different amounts of coins for coming in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. You won't be able to just simply convert the numbers.

 

I feel we should still have stars for the bragging rights. Keep it the way it was, where if you get first place you get a star. I am not saying to abolish the coin system, but just to re-add the star system. I always looked forward to going into the lobby and comparing my star total with everyone else. Both systems would then work in harmony.

 

I think if the star system were to be re-implemented, to act along side the new Coin currency, as others have already stated, it would just add a lot more features to the game. You can compare how many stars, you can show off horse armour in the horse races, setting fireworks off left right and centre. It is just adding more fun and appealing dimensions to party.
