New Poppy Base

    Hi!

    The new poppy base is now here, but I feel like there are some flaws in it, this thread is for discussing about it and what could be better. I'll start:

    The big thing is this base (mainly the proc hut) is too in favor in the defenders side, which also means it's hard for the outsiders/offensive side storm in when there are people inside.
    What I suggest is a ladder/staircase up to the 2nd level to get into the 2nd floor.
    Little holes in the outside part of the hut so people can shoot into it to hit the people inside.
    Making the 1 doorway into a 2 door way.
    Finally making the 2 door way have slabs on the top or slabs on the side so they can shoot without opening the door.

    Im with you that it is too in favour of the defensive. But it should not be too hard because alot of people Will go there.

    Hmmm, gonna have to disagree. Imo, It's too early on in the change for there to be any solid arguments as to why the new rebel base is 'bad'. As there are more fights in the base, more strategies will develop on how to raid it. Yes, I can see that the base is very dependable, but I think the point is to change things up for wild west players. I can say I'm excited for future fights in the base.

    droiid, have you ever seen how hard it is to raid the base once a team is camping there

    it's impossible, everyone just camps on the roofs lol.

    Not even close to impossible. Hit them off the roofs, me and nafsu have won 6v2s that way. They take tons of fall damage. We prefer them to camp on the roofs because there is no cover up there. Makes them very easy targets.

    yeah, but good luck when there is 10 people at poppy and one sheriff :L
    also, my aim is more potato than urs

    and raiding the processor itself is hard, the only way in is from the bottom or the top, the top is a vulnerable ladder, and the bottom is ez place to get sawed

    hey there's a thing called strafing..., also, some people will flank :L. what about them in a processing room? that's pretty impossible :L

    Poppy is completely balanced.

    1. Attack processor with molly's or storming into building with multiple people at once. Use third person or reload chunks to see if the opponent is camping the ladder or the front door.
    2. Attack people on roofs with lassos thus flinging them off when they get too close to edge to shoot you. They will end up missing their shot and falling off. The game isn't about who has the best aim it is about strategy.
    3. Use towers to get roof campers, they have no cover, you have tower cover.
    4. Stay within 50 blocks of them inside of the houses, they can't HQ until you leave or they kill you so just don't leave the house, then it can come down to who is better with the shotgun and if you are better, you will win.
