Idea Famas buff

    Famas is trash. Its the third assault rifle and yet its the worst assault rifle in the game...
    Why its so bad: It has the same damage per bullet (maybe a tiny bit higher damage but its not noticable at all) as M16A4 but the M16 fires about 2x faster.
    Yes yes i can hear you typing "but accuracy" and yes, technically the Famas has a higher ratio of hits/bullets fired, however, the killing potential at longer ranges with the Famas is maybe actually worse than the M16 due to the M16 having slightly less accuracy but firing much faster. Also the Famas is just rubbish at close range where the M16 out-shines it absolutely 100%...
    So really, the famas is kind of useless to be honest, the only thing that is better is that you might use a few less bullets to kill somebody at further range but thats about it and honestly it does not make up at all for all the negatives and drawbacks it has compared to the M16 which i gave as an example.

    So whats the fix then? Buff the damage to where it's a 2 shot headshot. Yes, this will make the famas conciderably stronger than it was previously but at the same time it will not make the other assault rifles obsolete seeing as the M16 has a much higher rate of fire while the fully automatic assault rifles make up for this by being... you know, fully automatic...

    And no, it will not make the famas OP by any means. I know this from experience having tested using it with stoppingpower which achives basicly what i suggested you make in this thread. It's conciderably stronger yes, and actually becomes a decent gun, which it isn't at the moment by a long shot.

    Famas kills in one burst though. :/ Also the stats bars on guns don't really mean anything, so I hope you aren't referring to that. For example, magnum has really good aim according to the bars, but in reality it sucks.

    The burst fires really god damn slow and m16a4 is better either way, as well as being the starter gun and famas the 3rd (2nd?) unlock. I know bar stats don't really mean anything, i made this after experimenting and playing with Famas & m16a4 for a while and realized how useless it really was...

    I liked famas, it was my go-to machine gun on most maps, and I thought it was strong enough, if not too strong when I was using it. Then I got acr :/

    Well i personally have never used the famas.....when i was in my first game ....the famas kit was as a default but afterwards i started using the msr and later the m4a1......so idk about famas.....but @Knaber is right tho...it should need kinda a buff

    It needs a slight damage buff and accuracy buff. Anything more will probably make it overused and overpowered.

    Not really, you can use it with stoppingpower to achive what i suggested here, it's a pretty decent gun when you do that, it's by no means overpowered though.
